Hellow. As the title says I'm really, really bored and in need of something interesting and good to read.

I'm not looking for anything specific, just something that can occupy my time for a while.
Though, I say I'm not aiming for any specific type I do still have a few things I wouldn't like to read (stated below). I've also included a list of a few mangas I managed to remember that I like, if it's of any help :#

Liked:
MxO
Psyren
Naruto
Prince of Tennis (and the sequel)
Kanata Kara (From Far Away)
Tsuki no Shippo (sometimes liked it..sometimes didn't)
Death Note
Code Geass + Code Geass R2
Twelve Kingdoms
Click
Ouran High School Host Club
Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge
My Heavenly Hockey Club
Darker Than Black (didn't like the sequel much)
Kuroshitsuji
Bleach (partially)
One Piece (some parts)
Pet Shop of Horrors
The Breaker (and the sequel)
D.Gray-Man
Red River

(these are not listed in any logical order)

I hope my list helps ^^

Love:
- longer series
- not episodic nor repetitive
- interesting story-line
- as little romance as possible with no influence to the plot (I know some of my examples are romance titles and are quite focused on it; so to clarify, I don't want the saving the fucking useless princess bullshit where everything starts because the protagonist likes a girl)
-> of course if it's a shoujo it's most likely it'll have quite a bit of romance if the lead is a female (but please avoid the useless heroine crap)
-adventure/fantasy/supernatural/action

Now, obviously your recommendation can contain one of my likes or none. I'm just stating them for easier recollection of titles..or something biggrin

A no-no at any cost:
- whiny, useless, stupid heroine
- ecchi (I usually associate it with the boring mangas, but if you have a good recommendation and it has ecchi moments I'd love to read it :3)

I guess, that would be all.
I wonder it anyone'll reply '_'

Ohoho. Well thanks in advance

Gokusen -- slapstick comedy. love the female lead.
FMA -- no whiny females here...

fruits basket
beck
basara - seconding
angel sanctuary - it may seem to be too romantic, but later it isn't.
GTO - I wonder if this had repetitive plot...
hoshin engi - no romance at all
majin tantei nougami neuro - no romance at all, dramatic, psychological, a must.
vampire game
threads of time

all completely scanlated and above 10 volumes smile
I didn't include the psycho stuff so say if you aren't against it. and also if you want shorter series.

@sarah-eats-cupcakes
I gave up on Basara after first two volumes, but I might as well read it whole. I've got time and it looks like something I'd like.
Mirai Nikki seems interesting, but I'm not sure about Liar Game considering all the bad comments the female lead received?

@Kte
I think I ran into that one while I was skimming through the new mangas. It looks fun, but I'll wait till a bit more is out biggrin
Thanks for mentioning it though. I added it to my wish list so I wouldn't forget xD

@hobbitelf518
Gokusen I think I read a while ago. I'll re-read it considering I don't remember it at all smile
Also, I'm reading FMA embarrassed can't believe I actually forgot to mention it on my list

Thank you three for the recommendations. First comes Basara then ufufufu

@komurczakthealien who posted while I previewed this post xD
Thank you for your words :3

Fruit Basket - saw the anime, got repulsed by it o.0 is manga different?
[/m]GTO[m]...hm...I was reading that a few months back..but I ended up giving up at some point
Neuro sounds amusing, I'm looking forward to it smile
I've been avoiding Threads of Time, but it was always high up on 'I wanna read it buuut..' Now I will biggrin
Angel Sanctuary seems really...dramatic??

I'm not against psycho stuff nor shorter series (but it's be better if they were at least 2-3 volumes long). biggrin

Maybe Ares or Rurouni Kenshin or Shin Angyo Onshi. All are completely scanlated and quite long.

I actually like longer series the best too, as for threads of time, you can read it only if you have stomach for it. there is a LOT of blood but even more rapes, if I read it some years ago, I would have bad dreams so you better consider it. But the story is really nice and the ending is unexpected.

as for fruits basket it was I guess like the anime, but manga had ending and it stopped being that comedic and was more dramatic. I cried a lot sad

angel sanctuary is really dramatic. and confusing I guess, but I love mangas with many characters, and this one has it.

and I want to say that I wanted to drop Basara after a few volumes (I hated it). and now I gave it 10/10 smile

so the more psycho stuff:
bokurano - tragedy
dragon head
akira

and you might like those too:
ludwig revolution
hiiro no isu
ng life
return
the tarot cafe
please Save My Earth

Violinist of Hameln - one of the best finished shounen series IMO. In terms of epicness it doesn't have many rivals in genre.

@komurczakthealien
Thanks for so much reading material biggrin

Well, I do love a lot of blood...but not a lot of rape. I guess I will read it anyway xD
If Basara managed to go from hate to love like that I guess I should finish it too.

Dragon Head and Akira sound really interesting o.o I'm really glad you mentioned them. If I was searching alone I would've skipped them. I gotta write these two and Bokurano on paper or I'll lose 'em.

I think I actually read Ludwig Revolution. Is that the one where he liked the sleeping beauty the best? Though I don't think I remember the ending :S
I read The Tarot Cafe two days ago. Absolutely loved itt <3 I wanted to read more (and that's a lot coming from me xD)
Hiiro no Isu - read this one a while ago...I think it made me cry ._.
I saw Return a while back, but passed on it. It has a lot of good reviews though.
Aaand for the last, I read a bit of Please Save My Earth (about two volumes around a month ago). I can't remember what made me drop it >_< I'll have to check it out.

@MrSonic
Violinist of Hameln has one of my favorite protagonist types..but..does the art-style get any better?

Samurai deeper kyo I always suggest it cause it's so good!
Bloody Monday is also really good but the second season not really

Both are complete and I strongly suggest them if you haven't read them

Enjoy~

@ChocoKun
Bloody Monday I'll write down xD
I recall a few volumes of Samurai Deeper Kyo. If I remember correctly the female lead is lame and it seemed like it would repeat the same thing all over again '_'

Btw. Your avatar looks soo familiar. Where's it from?

Well, yes. I have seen them many as well.
And as ridiculous as it might sound I actually did check the most popular ones I see on the lists but they end up being exactly what I do not like reading smile
The reason why asked for recommendations was exactly because of that.

Then again most of the ones you recommended are the ones I avoid.
I did however read Slam Dunk and I generally avoid sports mangas but Major I'll check out.
Thanks for your recommendations :3
