Im looking for a manga that features a mom or dad that has lost a child and the greif is currrently holding them back from their present lives. What I mean by that is because of losing their kid it is either holding them back on romance, work, family life ect.

How depressing. I don't think I know of any series like that but you should try Luck Stealer, I think it's kind of along the lines of what you're looking for (Wife dies, leaving behind husband and daughter).
