Okay, so I'm looking for this shoujo manga about a girl who gets a shinigami from her grandfather (I think for a birthday, and it might have been a dad or an uncle, either way, some upper-family figure). She gets a choice of like... three servants, and the one she ends up with is this red-haired shinigami boy powered by lust and intamacy? He requires kisses and what not to defend her from evil as I remember it.

I can't remember much beyond that, but I'm fairly certain the shinigami was supposed to have red hair and wore these earings that were shaped like a half a yin-yang sign...?

Thanks for your help, but I actually found the manga I was looking for! It's called Moe Moe Darling. I figured I probably read it after reading Black Bird so I went to myanimelist and started doing an intensive search. xD
