What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)

What happened here? I liked the story, but suddenly BANG, the end.
Author illness? Axed? Moving elsewhere?

Axed.... though seems more like planned axing..... instead of smoothing the ending - since he knew that it will end 3-4 chapters sooner - author sort of made it intentionaly sudden and sharp to make sure we wonder whether she survived or not.... right? =^^=

at least that's the impression i've got.
