How do we even know that sword is Zangetsu. He lost all is reiatsu twice. Even with him getting a new infusion, none of it was his. It should be a new sword, but all that logic is futile roll eyes none

i think Zangetsu changed quite a bit, but its still Zangetsu

So I guess that's how you tie in fullbringers+shinigami, by making Ginjo be the old subsitute Shinigami...
My theory is, SS found out he was a twisted guy and took his powers, then he met the fullbringers and started to plan to get his powers back?

IT reminds me, right now I'm watching a Spanish soap where they kinda used the same set-up...
The guy that has been helping everyone out has actually been in cahoots with the bad guy the whole time...difference is that the 'good guys' haven't figured out they've been played.

Good chapter BTW

Ichigo got his first infusion of reiatsu from Rukia in the first place, i dun think it matters where the infusion came from

But that first time was more like just a quick way making him into a shinigami as opposed to this time. let me put it this way. the first time was like opening a restaurant in a old building. It's been there for years and it used to be another restaurant. This time it was like having to build one in an empty lot in the middle of nowhere.

I thought that it was an alright chapter...I still hate the cliched "oh my God, how is he this powerful? I don't know if I can take all of this. Wait, I forgot that I've had this incredible power inside of me, so now I guess I can actually fight."

If Ginjo had these powers to begin with, why did he even need Ichigo? Ichigo was supposed to be powerless after fighting Aizen, right (doesn't seem like it was true, but Ginjo didn't know about his hidden power)? So, why did they use him to gather this tiny bit of fullbring power?

And, I'm still not sure about this, but Rukia made it sound like all of the captains' reitsu was just a jump start to reawaken Ichigo's powers, instead of giving him powers, so that should be Zangetsu still. The sword is formed from his soul right? So, I'm guessing that it will always be Zangetsu, but as his soul is influenced by the others' reitsu, it looks slightly different.

Also, I don't think that Ichigo's hollow form would simply disappear because he lost his reitsu. When Aizen was talking about the Vizards, didn't he say that they were already dead, like it had fundamentally changed their soul composition? So, Ichigo should still have a hollow (maybe more controllable, but it should be there).

Well, I guess we'll see about the sword sooner or later. I never disputed his hollow side. it's always going to be there so long as he's human because that side doesn't depend on how much spiritual energy you have in life. Atleast not directly.

Just a quick comment/question.. I recall hearing before (either in the manga or anime) that Ichigo was supposedly the first to get the substitute shinigami badge, and although it was created for such occasions that it was never used before.. (Of course a captain said it so I guess they might of been mistaken..) But still... Anyone else remember something like that being mentioned?

No, I don't think Ukitake ever said anything like that. In fact, if you look at the manga, he seems to imply that there were previous substitute shinigami (and that it's "tradition" to give them such a badge). See chapter 182.

I really dont like Ginjo's new outfit but anyway I did not like the guy in the first place so it does not matter. Now the real question is... where the hell are all the other fullbringer and Inoue/Chad ... Ginjo is in trouble and no one is helping him...

maybe they disappear to nothing whenever shinigami are around. It would explain why nothing at all of their existence was known to anyone until now.
