Hello You people

I haven't read a manga ( and am looking for one ) which has a now a day realistic social aspect to it. Well, its not true that i have never read a manga, NHK for example. But not many. Stuff like Sanctuary or so is so far out that i can't take it seriuosly. Many Manga have some kind of statement about School Life problems, but otherwise little. Hmmm, i just remembered Deep Love. And Harukana Machi-E. Ok, I have read a few.

Well anyway, i would be most thankfull for any tips about manga that actually deal with real life now a day Japan. ( school life not included )

what manga does deal with life in japan at the moment? i am curious myself. I mean, if it doesnt involve school, it should involve work then. I dont really know many manga. Maybe Densha Otoko?

Hmmm, I've read Densha Otoko: Gambare Doku Otoko ( at least the 4 chapters scanslated ) and liked it.

Team Medical Dragon is fun, and it does show a lot of intresting things about medical research and hospitals. It's a bit over the top, but still good.

can't find deathrow.

I found out while reading Beck that public kissing in Japan is sort of taboo and not common at all. How the hell did i read all this manga and it still took me 4 years to learn that. So much for getting to learn a cultur by reading its comics.
