I would like to read a manga with a considerable age gap (at least 8 years) where a girl character falls in love with a guy who had some part in raising her or knew her well when she was younger. He should be kind and mature, but should have no romantic feelings towards her at the beginning of the story. The girl shouldn't like him either at the beginning. Then, the guy should, for some reason, figure out that he likes the girl.

My ideal manga is where the story starts off when the girl is young and shows the relationship between her and the guy, and then there is a time skip.

Would prefer shounen, but it's okay if it is not.

No yaoi, yuri, or tragedy.
