Yup, I watch a lot less anime. Most anime are just manga adaptations and the mangas are so much easier and more enjoyable to read. A manga chapter takes 5 minutes to read and has no filler (or it shouldn't, at any rate!) while anime episodes take 20 minutes to watch and almost always include at least a few time-wasting filler episodes per season. No thanks.
I'm still open to watching original animes, though. Problem is, since I've mostly stopped watching anime, I don't know what's being fansubbed anymore.

To be honest i watch less now maybe because anime has loss its spark (well to me that is). It seem like in the pass there was sooooooo much good anime out there I barely could keep up, especially around the 2006-2008 time period when anime like code geass, death note, D.Gray-man, Ergo Proxy, Nana, Ouran High School Host Club, Claymore, Tokyo Majin, Shugo Chara, Shakugan no shana, kure-nai, skip beat, michiko to hatchin, toradora, vampire knight, etc. Now you have to search around A LOT in order to find a decent anime. There's probably one or two really good animes every season or so.

I've always been the reading type so I don't watch any new anime anymore except for the Rebuild of Evangelion movies.
I don't watch anime adaptions of manga series
For the past few years I haven't watched anything but Mononoke, Kino no Tabi, Evangelion, GitS, and the short anime films Cencoroll and Kigeki.
So yeah, not a big list.
I used to primarily watch anime, when I first was introduced to this stuff years and years and years ago

yes. As you watch anime for years you realize (obviously) reading the manga saves sooo much time.
I only watch anime if it is better than the manga ex. code geass/gintama and one that don't have a manga ex. tiger & bunny

yes, specially now that i can choose my own genre. there's not much shoujo/josei animes and most of them are adaptations from mangas pa. and true, reading manga saves more time. i'm watching anime online and my net's not that fast. it makes me feel more productive. i can read at least 4 chapters in a 30min episode, loading and buffer time not included.

Yes, but that's because I don't have my own computer so I mostly read mangas now.
If I get the time to watch some anime at ma friends place (who doesnt like anime nor manga) then I'll do it.
I'm waiting for the time when I get my computer back so I can watch anime all day long. :3

I started getting into anime/manga a little over two years ago and all I used to do was watch anime. After watching Elfen Lied, I checked out the manga and it was many times better. Ever since, I've mostly stuck to manga. I occasionally watch an anime about a manga I've already read. Used to catch the big three every week, but Bleach just sucks now and Naruto is packed full of fillers. I'd rather read manga, but I do like to watch subbed anime since I slowly pick up Japanese, which is kinda nice

I kinda don't really watch anime unless a friend recommends it to me or the manga/novel adaption or original TV show is really good that I want to see it in action. Usually the trailers also get me into it.
Other than that, manga is indeed easier to read.

no i still watch anime
it takes a little longer to finish each series now though(because of school) but thats only normal
i actually prefer anime over manga(if it covers most of the manga's plot) because i feel like the story's charm is amplified when colours, motion and music are added(most animes have amazing soundtracks btw)
and there are a lot of animes that werent adapted from manga(like "now and then, here and there")those tend to be reaaaally good

I used to watch a lot of Anime (at it's height, about 10 years ago, I'd watch on average at least one or two episodes a day), but the last couple of years I'm watching less and less.
These days I watch maybe one episode a week, if I don't forget downloading (and actually watch it afterwards).
Mainly due to lack of time and other things I'd rather be doing, but the fact that I've pretty much watched everything to date that even remotely fancies my interest (and is translated) doesn't help.
Still keeping a tab on new shows and such, but they mostly just end up on my 'to watch' list.

Do you think that you'll ever get tired of this type of entertainment, (anime, manga, ect., I mean)? I know for sure I won't, hopefully . I've never strayed away from Japanese entertainment before.
