Because a Canadian friend of mine never knew that a cockroach could fly and was horrified when I told him about it

Perhaps there are just fewer cockroaches in colder climate? I think they like warm, moist places to live.

I live in a temperate climate and I don't think I've never even seen a cockroach, let alone see it fly.

It's very rare to see cockroaches in that type of climate, however they are very rampant in tropical climate where they do fly and scare the crap out of us.

I will an arm and a leg to live in place with colder climate, i hate cockroaches with passion.

The thing is that even if you see a cockroach when it's cold, it will, mostly, be too weak to move as fast as normal, much less fly since cockroach are not masters of the air to begin with. So it will walk most of the time.

I'm curious as to what is likely going to happen if a person drinks petroleum or gasoline in a small amount (such as a cup).

Gasoline is used as a drug, if its fumes are inhaled they can give you hallucination and long term side effects might include severe damage of the internal organs and the brain, about drinking it, i can't tell you for sure, but most likely you will puke it.

Petroleum is ticker and has a lot of impurities, so you might choke to death, anyway don't do it (if you even tough about trying your self laugh )

I was wondering, is it possible for a black person with very dark skin to have a white ink tattoo that looks okay? I mean, like a black ink tattoo on a white person? It's just something I've been wondering about for some time.

Tattoo ink sits underneath a layer of translucent skin. Tattoo ink is opaque and, as such, in theory, any color is possible, including white. White ink used in tattoos however, is most often translucent itself. As skin is translucent, not clear, there will be a slight amount of discoloration for any ink. The amount will vary from almost nothing to usually nothing more than a mild "yellowing" effect, although for people with darker skin tones the change can be dramatic, in other words, it will not be white, but just turn the skin paler or won't be visible at all. Generally, they just look like scars on any person, if they are visible at all.

I want to crop several dozen images about 700 pixels from the right side (in other words, to chop off most of the right side of each image), but I don't want to do them all individually. Does anyone know of a free batch cropping program that will let me do this?

I have found several batch cropping programs through a google search, but all the ones I've found use an adjustable frame to crop (you adjust the frame over the image, and the part outside gets cropped away), and do not transfer the adjustable frame well to the next image (the images are slightly different sizes), meaning parts of the top, left, and bottom get cut off of many of the images. This is not good for what I'm doing, so I need a program that will remove a certain portion from a particular side of the image (ensuring no parts of the other sides get cut off).

You could probably do it with Photoshop through custom actions? Not too sure though
