And no, it's not Christmas.

What time is it? In about two weeks, the Ivy Leagues and comparable schools will be sending out their responses to Early Action applications; many of us are going through admissions processes right now; and many of us will have completed several college applications by now, so I present three questions:

1. What colleges did you apply to and what colleges are you planning to apply to?

2. What colleges accepted you?

3. What colleges rejected you?

I don't imagine that many of us will have acceptances or rejections yet, but it's nice to set the thread down a route such that it can fill in for the need to brag when people do start to get accepted, and a place to rant/shoulder to cry on when they get rejected.

So, my answers, complete with a nice example format:

1: Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)(Dream School)(Applied Early Action), UCLA (Applied Regular Action), UC Berkeley (Applied Regular Action), Worchester (Going to apply...eventually), University of Tulsa (Going to apply...eventually), and perhaps some other schools. We'll see.

2. None (yet).

3. None (yet).

That's what happened to my friend too. He ended up living alone in an apartment T.T

Wow. MIT and Caltech. Good luck!! >.<!! I would love to go to those schools for graduate school. Amazing Astrophysics program.

Oh. I just realized. You're not applying to Berkeley, lambchopsil? Do you happen to be applying for BioEngineering by any chance?

My mom doesn't want me to go to Berkeley...She's always talking about how it's "too liberal". (She went there herself...) Whatever, UCLA's good enough for me, and it's closer too!

Correct!

Now to wait until March-ish for those acceptance/rejection letters...

lol. The reason I thought you may be applying to BioE was because Berkeley's BioE program is not that good, but UCI/UCSD/UCLA's are a lot better.

Too bad though, Berkeley has a good CS program...

Haha. Caltech though. My friend is in Caltech right now. He said for his application, they had like a box drawn on the application paper, and they were supposed to fill it up with whatever they want.
