He loves Sumi too much and he even make a plan to take her away from Souchiro.

Desire Climax - The guy is very possessive of the girl and you can see that he loves her very much. Although sometimes he's a bit cruel. But later on he becomes gentler I guess...also he does blush sometimes which is so cute!
Honey x Honey Drops - The guy basically owns the girl. He sorta buys her I guess...in a way. She becomes his assistant in school but it's more of a slave thingy. But he does love her and she does love him so it all evens out. This was one of my fav manga!
These two mangas are both similar to Hadashi de Bara o Fume as in where the guy buys the girl so you got the same concept and the possessive guy. I haven't read that manga but from the description I can see it's quite similar.
Boku wa Imouto ni Koiwosuru - I think I haven't seen someone be more possessive of a girl than the guy in this manga. He loves his twin sister so much that it's insane. I'm not sure how you are about incest so it's up to you but I know this manga was turned into an OVA and a movie so it's quite popular. I'm also kinda bleh about incest but the guy loved the girl so much in this manga that you just gotta love the couple.
These three mangas are all smut so it's up to you if you wanna read them...although they're not really graphic so don't worry...these mangas are all popular with teenagers...not adults...
Watashi ni xx Shinasai - um well here the girl kinda becomes possessive of the guy but then later on she doesn't really care anymore and then the guy starts becoming possessive of her...so yeah

Toriko - Aigan Shoujo - must be ok with VERY young girl and older male. very similar to Hadashide de Bara wo Fume
