Hello this time I have another request under a similar topic.

As the topic name indicates I am looking for romance stories, that are mostly sad, not like many stories where relations have some difficult points, then comes the final misunderstanding before the two get together and then it's only strawberry time and happy faces from then on... (well I exaggerated a bit, but I think you know what I mean).
Instead of smiling when something postive happens in such stories, I'd rather have those pages where you look at a petrified face only thinking: oh my god *stomachache* - what now?!
I don't mind happy endings, but the "happy" shouldn't just start halfway through^^


For preferences, shoujo, shounen, seinen, josei (although not much experience with josei) are all ok, but no shounan ai, yaoi, yuri etc. and It would be a BIG plus if there is none or close to none ecchi and stuff... and please no sports mangas... Ah nearly forgot one important thing, no harem!

My lists should contain all things I've already read /I am reading.

Sundome I'm gonna put it anyway because this is probably the saddest romance manga I read, but the story is heavily sexual related, so discard this if you're 100% against that.
And on an off topic looking at your votes/scores try Gunslinger Girl when you've time, you won't regret it.

i dun really understand ur request but there should be what u want. Some are heartwarming and some are sad. Though most of them are happy endings hahas.... But these mangas should be relatively different from the normal shoujoish manga.

@ enomis: sorry I really tried to make it as clear as possible, it's just, that I prefer sad stories more than happy or comical ones because I find them more touching and interesting (and worth remebering)

@reid1: I'll also take a look into Gunslinger Girl, after reading the other titles recommended here

hmm? the stories are touching btw=.=...they are not happy and comical...give some of them a try. I am sorry if i phrase them wrong but i am not saying the story is a happy sorry. Most of it is sad and even though some have a sad ending, u will still feel heartwarming due to how they end.hahas, if u dun like them, i guess i have no choice, its a personal preference. But do give them a try

@ enomis: ah misunderstandings continue^^ I'll definately give them a try (and simply be it because you couldn't know if it's sad before reading at least a few chapters)
Checked Yumenara Samenaide and I personally think the first story was the best of those three.

ah but I couldn't find find the one with the longest name in this database, perhabs wrong spelling?
