I dont know if you'd call it a cliche but I like how the end guy or girl usually ends up on the most covers, has the most panel time, and has the most development out of all the other love interests. Basically when it's made obvious who the main character will end up with. It's just easier to read a story knowing and accepting who the main character will end up with rather than being totally clueless and hoping for something that doesn't happen. I'm a bit of a sore loser so I rather have it totally obvious. I don't like when my chosen guy or girl loses. That's why I LOVE manga like Lovely Complex, Ouran, Skip Beat, Dengeki Daisy, Kare Kano, etc where it's totally obvious and you can tell the characters were just made for each other. No other guys or girls stand a chance! wink

I'm not sure if it's a cliche of not, but I absolutely love love-triangles in which both guys have a shot with the girl. With few exceptions, I'm not crazy about love triangle mangas where it's obvious which guy the heroine is gonna end up with and the other guy is stuck with unrequited love. ie Absolute Boyfriend, Ouran High School Host Club

What can I say, I love the underdog.

Edit: lol just noticed the post above me...

When the stoic tsundere starts to become more flustered and embarrassed.

I also really love it when the two main characters hate each other at first then learn to love each other. I really like seeing a relationship, where they mean nothing to each other, grow to a point where they are just meant to be. (:

When the girl is about to leave and the guy suddenly grabs her wrists and confess his love...so sweet.

I'm not sure how to describe this, but I like it when characters need some alone time to think seriously, they often run off to a playground. Particularly, they sit on the swing set. Eventually someone (be it the love interest, a friend, or a family member) joins said character and they have a heart-to-heart. I mostly like this cliche so much because I adore swings biggrin.

I'm a sucker for parts of the manga where they have the usually cool and ignorant guy gets jealous and gets all possessive suddenly. Sigh~

Also the childhood friends but separated at young then coincidentally found each other again when they grew up, like Ren and Kyouko in Skip Beat smile

Hmm, it would definitely be the one where the cold hearted guy and the strong female lead fight and argue and hate each other(but respect each other to a point) and then they have to pretend to get along and stuff. Then the guy warms up to the girl and they start to slowly like each other.

OR

When the guy bullies the girl and the girl doesn't give up so it piques interest in the main bully guy. Then the guy soon becomes interested in the girl. (This happens ALOT in manhua!) Ex.Boys Over Flowers (I haven't read the manga, but I watched the k-drama)

And
I love it when the main girl/guy have are neck to neck with each other alot, but they have to pretend to be a couple for a chapter or so, I''m a sucker for those cliches, it always makes me smile.

Quote from Digital-Eon
I like it when the guy says something romantic/cute/whatever and then blushes or gets embarrassed over it... and the girl notices and reacts. It's so cute~

And I second the marriage thing; that's always a lovely ending.

when they're under the rain and they share the umbrella and get to either's one home together and drenched in the rain ..aww^_^~

I admittedly love a number of manga that use the 'ol "whisk a girl away to another world where she manages to shack up with a hot guy that is protecting her for whatever reason" plot. Fushigi Yuugi, Kanata Kara, Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori... and Rebadan Kibou no Hana and Silver Diamond are shoujo manga with guys being spirited away instead. Even better.. :3

I do prefer if she/he becomes useful in her own way though.

I have a confession to make.

I have a soft spot for the obligatory, gratingly cliche "cold chapter" where the male lead gets sick and is nursed by (fill in the blank). Even though they're terribly predictable, I like them. 'Cause I'm a creeper like that. ^^;

As much as I'm embarrassed to admit it...

When the dude accidently sees the chick naked.
