Any Non-Shoujo where the female love interest is just cold and not Tsundere?

I just kind of realized, I've never read a manga with a GOOD cold/bitchy character. I don't mean Tsundere, that's cliche, but I'd like a manga where a guy falls for a woman who is really just very cold in general, and isn't just hiding her real super love-desiring self. Does that make sense? Like, plot-wise maybe something where he falls for a girl for looks or has a kind of "m" personality, but ends up actually falling in love with her, without her ending up being something completely different inside. It always bothers me when manga women all seem to have the same personality under their different defenses. I'd rather have a guy realize that all women aren't the same, and instead come to accept that personality as just another part of the person.

Any Ideas?

No Shoujo unless it's a male lead, and no smut please.

Thanks.

Well. that's a lot closer than most, but I'd still consider it tsundere once you get past the earlier chapters. Let me try to clarify, because I think my explanation was kind of off.

What we usually get: A person who seems cold but is really insecure or hiding their soft side, until the right man comes along and changes her or realizes this. And she slowly reveals her true self to him.

What I want: Something where the female lead doesn't change or isn't hiding an insecure side. I want something where a male protagonist falls for someone with a cold/cool personality, and instead of changing them, realizing he's in love with that cold personality.

I don't know if it exists, but I know it could be done. Preferably with an older woman and younger man. Maybe even having her unsure of why he's so attracted to her.

The closer one I can think now is Stone Cold, but it's so short...

Possibly Sundome then, although I've only read the first 56 chapters, and I can't really be sure that she doesn't warm up later. Also, she isn't really bitchy, just cold.... And, it's "Borderline H", but you asked for no smut. So, it's worth a mention, but maybe not exactly what you want.

Maybe Mysterious Girlfriend X would fit.

this: Last Game. Except that it's shoujo but in half of the book, the man is the lead and the story is told through his perspective before it switches to the woman.

It seems to me Mahou Tsukai Kurohime fits the description. For one, the manga is long, it's completely scanlated, for other - it is about a pair growing into a couple, with the main female lead coming as a sheer ruthless bastard. (Whoever innocently believes Kurohime is a tsundere, cruelly lies to himself).

Some good looking reccomendations. I read Mysterious Girlfriend X and Sundome, and they are exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for. Sundome is a little to H for my tastes though. Thanks. I'll check out the rest of these suggestions now. Also Mahou Tsukai Kurohime kind of fits, but not really. She may not be tsundere, but she's way to crazy/out there. Also, I'm just not a big fan of the story in general. Thanks though.

I can't think of anything that doesn't have a little H in it. Maybe Aku no Hana.

If you don't mind reading some borderline stuff, then Velvet Kiss.
