A couple of years ago i stumbled upon a manga which i found so compelling that i found it difficult to put it down albeit a no longer updated manga. I've searched on countless websites and encountered the manga after searching "i'm looking for topics .... about strong female heroines in shoujo manga". Not long after that my laptop no longer worked and CRASHED! OH. MY. GOD. After it rebooted the memory was wiped clean and i no longer could remember the name or the genre the manga was under.
I remember some parts of the manga and a bit about the author. I just hope that it will be enough to jolt something in your memory as to what is it i need to find - if you can help me that is
.Well for starters, the manga is about a TALL black-haired tomboyish girl who is constantly mistaken as a guy and attracts a lot of attention from the girls on the streets or in her class. This is until she arrives to school in the girls school uniform. She has a male best friend who is also her childhood friend who is a cute, short, weak and fragile guy who is constantly mistaken as a girl.
Her mother and father i believe are security guards/bodyguards and are chain smokers. She has many brothers who are all experienced in the art of taekwondo i believe and many other martial arts styles. Her father trains her very hard and she is probably one of the most experienced of them all.
She meets a guy one day who is a leader of a gang at her school, he smokes, they start going out and she tries to stop him from smoking or something like that.
The author i don't think ever got to continue the manga since she/he went on hiatus due to a sickness.
That unfortunately is all i can remember about that manga. I hope you find what i'm looking for.
