This is a really engrossing series. There should be more discussion of it!

Anyway, we finally got the long-awaited reunion between Lark, Angela, and Setz. Only, it didn't go as Lark might have hoped and no one knew what to say to each other. (Which was pretty realistic, because really, what do you say to a kid you last saw when you were 5?)

I have to say, this latest chapter of Crepuscule really makes me pity Setz. On the outside, he seems to be an elite, but in reality, he's got almost nothing going for himself: No abilities, no friends, no one who cares about him. And he's basically stuck playing Karne's servant because his father thinks he's too worthless to do anything else. Lark's words, meant to be kind, just ended up being cruel instead.

Are things going to get better for this kid, or worse? Karne is something of a time bomb, it seems. She's kind and thinks she's in love with Setz, which is good for him for the moment (I'm wondering if her feelings are real, or if it's just gratitude because of how much he's done for her), but she's also unreliable because of how out of control her powers are.

And then we have Neal... What's his game? And how did he figure out that Lark is human?

something is intriguing about "the world"
are they living inside a dream dreamed by Karmilla?
isn't this Solipsism?
and speaking of solipsism its close to the P-Zombie argument ?
wait did i say zombie?? mayb it's all intended by the author !?
well in a way "the world" is like a fantasy idealistic MMORPG
Metaphysical solipsism -> subjective idealism
MMORPG->Simulism+digital philosophy
it all connect ^^
