I'm desirest to read a manhwa that doesn't end up embodying all the things I hate.
Manhwa tend to get off to a really good start but then go down hill from there.
What I don't want are the following:
1. A seriously annoying female side character who bullies the main lead or makes several attempts at ruining the lead character's romance because they are hopelessly in love with the lead guy.
I don't mind if a side character like this appears, but not for long. If they are there for a lot of chapters then I can't read it.
(for some reason the creators of manhwa take these sort of characters to the extreme and eventually it puts me off the manhwa altogether, gets sooo irritating)
2. A main female lead who is always making a fool of herself.
A strong female lead who says and acts like other females wouldn't is totally fine, but I don't like it when the female lead is always being embarrassed by the male lead and made to look a fool. Example: Honggane
3. Goes on for a million chapters creating all kinds of irritating situations and relationship problems. *Yawn*
Not sure what my chances are because I think I've covered almost every manhwa with the above grievances, but we shall see. It's ok if the recommendations miss one or two of the requirements.
No tragedy please. unless it doesn't involve the two main characters.

Bride of the Water God do have point 1. and point 3. from MaZzAx's don't want to read list. Remember Nakbin? The artwork is awesome tough.
Maybe Adventure and Trouble Diary would fit?

The Tarot Cafe -- Told in an episodic fashion. The main character is a Tarot Card reader that is cursed with immortality. Main focus is not the romance.
Running Through the City In the Sunset -- Short and sweet. Artist gets a roommate who she doesn't realize is 17. He ends up getting a crush on her and she tells him he's not allowed to like her.
Utopia of Homosexuality -- Sexually confused leads.
Edit:
Plus Bride of the Water God has that annoying character that is always trying to break up the main couple...

Nabi- Totally and completely not like the normal manhwa's! Doesn't at all fit into any of the points!
Siesta- Though it hasn't gotten that far so I'm not sure how exactly it will continue, but so far it seems to fit in your requirements. The way the story is progressing it seems it will bypass all three of those annoyances (or at least I hope it will!)

Wow soo many recommendations yay thanks everybody I'll get right round to reading them ^^
And to be more specific I was looking for a romance, maybe not catered towards too young an audience but I'm easy.
I would also appreciate manhwa from other genres too though, shounen is fine, I'm open to other genres. Just not the kind of genres like ecchi with big boobed women

Depends what you mean by embaresing situations for the male lead, but if it is what i think, then i hate them as well so you may like
Hot Blooded Woman
Goong
Red Lion
if you are only after manhwa then don't bother, but some stuff that i have red you might like, on my complete look, if you are interested, take a look at the ones highly rated.

Don't read works from Hwang Mi-Ri or Han Yu-Rang. Both love doing such annoying stuff and from the ... ten manhwas or so I read by them I only managed to complete one.
And everytime it's always the same... Incredible stupid heroine with only strengh in her fists lives a horrible life, guys fall in love with her and she gets together with the most popular one - who you can guess before finishing the first volume. And let's not forget the mean best friend of the female lead: She does everything to ridicule her (without heroine realizing it) and tries to snatch the hero away.
There are also some other annoying elements - but I forget them. No need to remember it.
Now to the ones you could like:
Saver
Ruby Doll
savage garden
ciel - not sure about this one, it's been a while since I read it.
I second: Running Through the City In the Sunset; also Siesta (It has only just begun, but no sight of 2 or 3; not much about 1 either)

Odd that Noblesse hasn't been mentioned yet, though probably not what the OP is looking for (guessing from all the "romance" oriented examples).
Noblesse contains nil romance, it doesn't need any.
If you're looking for romance, you could give Orange Marmalade a try. It's good.

Noblesse!
It doesn't have the romance but the art is amazing, storyline is funny and action packed!!! Even if you are looking romance, this is still a MUST read!
