I'm not after a similiar story of skip beat! However I am looking for the undertones similiar to Kyoko and I'm not sure if the below exists.

A shoujo story which is based on a girl who is currently not living with her parents (they don't have to be dead, possibly not present or active in her life) and she lives by herself or with someone or people and has been challenged or finds spirit in a way to begin her life a new by doing something in which will make her current life better and when she begins her goal she finds someone with similiar circumstances (or not) and they are together at the end.

I think kamisama hajimemashita was similar to this. If you don't mind the fact it is supernatural the demon lives pretty much alone, and at the beginning the girl was pretty much abandoned.... and they are both really stubborn as well(I should mention that she doesn't really find "spirit" till after they meet :/)
