Hey folks,

Recently, we've picked up a bunch of new projects, and since I have final exams, grant proposals, and all kinds of crazy stuff coming up, I figured it would be time to pick up a proofer and qcer or two.

For those of you who don't know what that is, the proofer's job is to read a script to check to make sure it's grammatically correct and that all the names/techniques/places are spelled correctly. We demand quite a bit, since translations are of varying quality, and the goal is to make a unified standard.
What makes proofing difficult, however, is the fact that you must not only know good grammar, but must have a good sense of diction and style. There are a million ways to say a sentence, but often only one way to say it to fit the situation.

If you think you have the leet control of English that would make you a good proofer, come down to our channel at #k-manga@irc.irchighway.net and poke me or one of the ops. We'll have a grueling test waiting for you ^^.
