Meh I was disappointed with Chisame's ending. Of all the students, she was the only one who went nowhere. That's kinda sad considering that she's among the most prominent characters in the manga.

The ending I like the most is Natsumi's. I really love the idea of her and Kotarou having another big adventure in the magical world, eventually confessing to each other and marrying. It has been my top pairing in Negima ever since I've heard of them.

Hey guys, I would like to share my story how I get into Negima..

I found my first copy or negima back when I was in a treatment center for my sickness, I was 12..
The doctors told me my recovery would be hard..
I give up hopes back then, I was alone in the states doing my recovery..

I was ready to accept death or permanent immobility..
But then one day, they change my room to the old wings..
In that room, I found someone left a copy of negima, it was a pirated one, bad english as well..

I reach to it out of boredom,
and I remember it was when they in the Library Island..
My heart race reading it, my mind travel far to japan and my soul is cherished..

I look it up on the internet, and Im hooked..
I look forward to the weekly release, and I start to smile, I start to believe..

A year from that Im fully healed, out of the center, go back to middle school and have a normal life..
My life was reformed by negima, it give me hope and laughter..
It gave me courage to face the future, and faith in people..
Not a day I do not check the internet for the new release..

Now Im 19 and in Switzerland doing my Bachelor..
Im crying out of happiness the manga is a huge success and the characters reach their happy ending..
But a part of me is uber sad for not being able to thank Akamatsu Sensei properly..

I wish I could send him a letter of gratitude..
Just to tell him my story, and how his story got me through hard times..
Chemo was painful, but I always told myself "hold on, be strong! U will live and u get to read more negima!"
And I did, and Im healed.. A huge part of it thanks to Negima..

I would love to know where to send a letter for Akamatsu Sensei..
If any of you could help me, I'll be grateful for the rest of my life..

Thank you..
Warmest regards,
Malvin Hartwell.

Wow, never heard of something like this, have to say its good that you're better now and that the manga helped you get through it all.

I personally wanted more chapters to wrap things up like maybe 20ish would of been better.

At last, this dog's out of its misery.

The fact that Negima ended so abruptly leads me to believe that the series was axed, since Akamatsu doesn't seem to be the kind of guy who makes a half-assed conclusion out of 9 years of work.

Given all the loose ends, it's almost a given that we haven't seen the end of this series.

its been awhile since ive read the whole series, so i might a bit off, but i believe the person negi likes would probably be eva, because, when asuna says someone like him, negi and eva are now similar beings. also her utterly surprised reaction would fit better for eva than any of the other girls. plus negi spends the most time with eva, and has said things that could be considered flirting. hes really attached to her. i remember one line, wheres negi said he wouldnt mind becoming a monster if it meant he be the same as eva, i thought that was a pretty bold statement and showed how much he respects and cares for her. plus eva liked him because he looks like nagi or at least would grow into nagi, but probably came to like negi for being negi.

I've been looking over the various reactions to the lack of ending for Negima. That in some ways the story isn't 'finished.' There are numerous plot lines that did not come to completion, and some that were hinted at that were never even started.

With a huge cast like Negima there will always be unfinished plots no matter when it ends as peoples lives aren't sitcoms where all problems end in 30 minutes. They would each have one issue or another pop in.

What we got with this ending was a fanfiction author's dream: guidelines of what is to happen, but open ended enough to work from.

Who does Negi favor? Does he end up with her? Does he end up with someone else? Does situations cause him to bed half of his former students?

Does the class have another grand adventure as adults, applying maturity and experience in a battle? How many of them were envolved in the Mars War?

Negima may have ended short of what most of us wanted, but it has left the book open for people to spin their own tales of what happens next.
