I really hope this bill doesn't pass. If it did it would seriously suck. Yeah, there are ways around it, but it would definitely ruin the openness of the internet. Plus by what Adam says about it ANYONE can sue you for copyright infringement, which is ridiculous, if the copyrightholder doesn't care, why on earth should someone else be able to sue? O.o This would probably shut down sites like Youtube, Facebook and such in no time.
And yeah, I'm pretty sure other countries would follow if America introduced something like this, here in Europe some countries are like America groupies. The Netherlands as well, if America does something they think they should at least give doing the same very serious consideration (that's how we got mixed up in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq).
Plus the only thing being able to see copyrighted stuff on the internet has done in my case is make me buy more copyrighted stuff too. The internet is the only reason I got into manga in the first place and a lot of the music I like is stuff I've come across on the internet as well. Face it, you copyright jerks, if I don't want to buy it after hearing/reading it, it JUST AIN'T GOOD ENOUGH.
Anyway, I guess I'd better start practicing my IRC skills X(

Did you ever read what it said in incognito browsing? The only thing it does is not record anything on your own browser. There's no way you can control what is recorded by servers when you visits websites and shit.

Let's just use IPs or P2P(DHP) DNS resolving.
Not everyone is as experienced with the Internet as you are.

That would be illegal under this bill. Personally circumventing the DNS restrictions would be illegal.
