another misleading title?
thanks ;D

When you see a bug at home, on the floor, on your desk, on the wall, on the ceiling o__O...etc. who kills it?

If it's on the floor, I'd just step on it. shy
Everything else, I get my brother to do it.
He's younger than me. biggrin

i got these damn stinkbugs in my house, they're loud when they fly, smell bad, and look creepy. They've been here since the middle of fall and now it's like in the middle of winter and THEY'RE STILL HERE god i hate them.
looks kinda like this http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/69/Pentatomi dae_spec.jpg

99.9% of the time I have no bugs or spiders in my house - having seven cats does tend to eliminate most of the creepy-crawlies. laugh

If I do see one, I deport it unharmed, usually via the "glass & paper" method. Aside from not liking to kill unnecessarily, even bugs, cleaning up bug guts is gross. dead

I believe the system of killing insects is to kill it when you see it. Because I'm tall, I may get called in for bugs on the ceiling.

I fear it would fall into my mouth if I try to get it from the ceiling. ><

Unless it's a wasp (or for that matter any insect in the Hymenoptera order) I'll take care of it. Wasp just scares me. Im more scared of a wasp then spiders, but then again im not really scared of spiders, expect for the black one (well...not all...like the teeny tiny ones are not scary) and the jumping ones (cause it jumped on me one time and scared the crap out of me)

Sometimes I kill it, other times I try to transport it unharmed. depends on my mood and how lazy I am. oh and there are times when I leave them alone. if they dont bother me, I just let them be. Like if they are on the ceiling, then im not going to bother, I give them fair warning...I tell them not to come down (not my fault if they dont understand me..) I usually leave daddy long legs alone tho. they're useful, they sit in the (high) corners and help with bug control LoL (yeah im weird...)

Unless it's ants or flies trying to mess with my food, I ignore 'em. I hate ants since a few of them in one spot eventually means a torrent of them going to that spot for food in about an hour, but only during late spring and summer. My brother uses the occasional mosquito on the wall or ceiling as target practice with a rubber band, but he freaks out at the sight of a spider, which he makes me kill.

Most don't bother me, except wasps. Everything else if it causes problems I'll kill it. I've even killed poisonous spiders like redbacks which some people like one of my old bosses were scared stiff of.

I look at it and ignore it.
If it bothers me like flies,
I will use my fist
to pulverize it.

i'm okay with killing live lizards but am scared of seeing them dead roll eyes

completely agree with TofuQueen dead

All I got in the house are House Centipede.
Those things are beneficial and their venom is harmless. But sometimes I find them in my shoes and shirt and stuff.

OH MY GOD! I never take care of bug myself if there is someone else around. I have a major bug-phobia, they are so gross and I actually cry sometimes if I see them... I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it. So, when I can, I get someone else to take care of the bugs for me. Haha, that's the beauty of living in a corridor with 14 other people, there is always someone to change your lighbulb and kill the insects for you! biggrin

I'm always afraid it'll fall on me and go into my cloth and crawl into my skin. Of course, except for a few insects, normal ones in your house don't do that.

Anyone remember those flies that sting and lay eggs under your skin? And when the eggs hatch, the maggots stays under your skin and eats your flesh?
