I was just wondering if people still believe in soul mates. That there is one person you are destined to be with. Once you meet them, you will fall in love and stay in love with that person for the rest of your life.

Personally, I believe you might have a love of your life, one person that you fall in love with and will never forget no matter if the relationship works out or not. But I don't really believe that fate has given everyone someone to love that they'll never fall out of love with.

maybe. because some people say its true, prob because they already found theirs, some people may say otherwise because they still havent found the one.. and the world is a huge place, you know, he could be out there, and i might not be able to find him and settle with this other person who is not my soulmate but i fell in love with and makes me happy smile

umm...not really
you can fall in love (genuine love) many many times...even if the relationship didnt work out that doesnt erase the fact that at one point in time you were in love with that person
so no, i dont really believe in soulmates...sometimes two people who are perfectly compatible fall out of love due to time, circumstances or people

Nope but then again I don't believe in love and I won't until I've felt it for myself. If other people wanna believe it then fine and dandy.

haha- that's cute, nothing to be embarrassed over.

Well...I guess I have to say maybe. I can't say it does or does not exist, it would be nice if it did exist.

Nope :B
Just look at divorce rates! I'm sorry, while the occasional nice story happens where an old couple met in kindergarten and were promised to marry at 6, and actually followed through and lived a long and happy life, it's not really realistic. I'm guessing it happens maybe once in every 100,000,000 couples. They're lucky, that's for sure. But I'm not about to get my hopes up for it!

Yes. I would like to believe that there is a person who is basically our other half. The problem lies in whether we are willing to wait for it. Then again many of us don't, so maybe that explains the high divorce rates smile wink grin

One of my teachers once said to me, when you truly get to understand a person completely, their past and their feelings, than you can't help but to love them. I don't believe that there is a soul mate out there, I believe that we're all compatible with each other. The difference between one's special someone and everyone else in the world is the time they spend together and the bond and understanding they form.
