A while ago , I read a shoujo oneshot.
I'm a little bit vague on the details, but I'll do my best.

This boy is good looking in class, but everyone thinks it's a waste as he doesn't pay attention to his looks, and doesn't care for girls etc. The main protagonist notices this and takes a bit of interest. The boy always looks at the sky, when there is a airplane trail. He uses that to determine whether the weather will rain or not the next day. The girl becomes interested, and starts bonding with the guy (i think, don't really remember that at all :L). But in the end of the story, the two are the only one's with umbrella's because they both know about the airplane trail in the sky.
