Okay, so I have a few questions for you lovely folks. Please answer honestly and with some originality. It's really no fun if you just go along with the crowd.
1. Which heroine made you feel like you could conquer the entire world? The one that made you say to yourself, "Yeah, I can do this! I can not only take on the world and win but also beat it into complete, butt-kissing submission!"
2. With which heroine could you relate to the most? Either in character, personality, or situation.
3. Which heroine made you feel the most proud of being a girl OR made you appreciate the girls in your life a bit more?
I'm just curious about it, is all. Feel free to elaborate on why and also include the medium through which the heroine's story is told (i.e., Anime, manga, novel, drama, etc.).
P.S. I'm pretty sure that this is in the right part of the forum, but feel free to move it elsewhere and please don't knock me too hard if I made a mistake.

How weird is it that no one has replied to this yet? The questions are kinda interesting and it'll be intriguing to see how everyone else answers.
1. Never actually read a story with a female main character who made me feel I could conquer the world. But if you mean a heroine that overall lifted my spirits and my confidence, I will have to say Anne Frank from the Diary of Anne Frank. Anytime I felt down, reading some of her diary entries lifted my spirits and inspired me. Not sure if this counts though since the work is autobiographical instead of fictional.
2. When I read Cheese in the Trap (webtoon), I felt Hong Sul is the type of character who thinks and reflects before acting, instead of jumping straight into situations impulsively, which is something I rarely see in main characters--never mind female ones--and that made me relate to her, because that is usually how I respond to situations. And her relationships with her parents struck a cord with me, since I had a similar reason for trying to be the top of my class a few years back.
3. Still Marry Me! is one of my favorite korean dramas, precisely because it has one of the most positive female friendship circle I have ever seen, in any movie, book, manga, or drama. Usually, the female friends get pushed aside in the main plot, so watching a drama where they are not was pretty incredible. You get the impression that their close and that they can rely on each other and they are just so hilarious together. So I guess this opened my eyes to what a female friendship could be, if done right. I think I've been more exposed to how they can go wrong...
And just as an addition, one of my favorite heroines is Lyra Silvertongue from the Dark Materials Series by Phillip Pullman (first book being the Golden Compass which in 10 times better than the movie). She's sneaky and cunning as they come and the last name bestowed on her later in the series (Silvertongue) fits her too well, but her heart is always in the right place. It has the bonus of being set in a fantasy setting and actually having to fight battles of epic proportions to save the world. Or rather all the worlds. It's rare for me to find read a fantasy with a female main character where the plot doesn't take the typical paranormal romance route and instead goes for a shounen-like plot. And it has amazing character development and complex themes that make you think. But most importantly, it's a series worth reading just for meeting Lyra.

1. The closest female character to that for me would be Lenalee Lee from D.Gray-Man. I mean, she does 'kick-butt' at least. I've never had a character that made me feel like I could conqure the world though.
2. Haruhi Fujioka from Ouran High School Host Club. I actually started reading the manga after my friends kept on telling me that we were very similar. We both share the flaw of trying to handle everything by ourselves instead of relying on others. We're also a bit dense and have a habit of being blunt. Though I look up the way Haruhi can bring out the best in others. Reading her story was both entertaining and a life lesson for me. What I found rather hilarious was that I also often used to get mistaken for a boy like she does.
3. Sawako Kuronuma from Kimi Ni Todoke is a slight role model for me in the way she views the world, and I suppose she does make me proud to be a female.
