Hi, I was looking series where there are sad scenes of people disappearing. By disappearing I mean going back to their "world" forever or simply do not exist anymore.

To make it clearer, some examples are: Sai in Hikaru no Go; Gin in Hotaru no Mori or the tea Princes in Koucha no Ouji.

I would love to read these scenes. Sometimes it's pure tragedy; sometimes it's bittersweet.

Thanks for your help in advance :X

well I don't know if this would be ok, but Double Arts contains such a disease: troia (vanishing disease)
it's not really sad though (mostly)

There are scenes like that in NARUTO.

Also, there is the anime ef - a tale of melodies. and the OAV Sandglass of Summer Colors, where a guy has to go back in time to save his girlfriend from dying with the help of a girl from the future.

Not supernatural but you do see the character fade from view and it's bittersweet but more tragic.

It's been an awfully long time since I read it so I'm not sure if it fits what you're after, but After School Nightmare comes to mind.

If anime is okay, Uta Kata and Angel Beats.

Mugen dokei
Ginsekai no Shoumei this oneshot is not very sad, and there are only one "disappear" scene but rather sweet so give it a try
