Hey everyone!

I am looking for some new recommendations. It can be manga, manhua, manhwa, or even regular (fantasy/light sci-fi) novels. Anime...maybe. Preferably shounen, seinen, or josei. I easily fall for supernatural/fantasy. Shoujo is okay (no Hwang Mi Ri/Han Yu-Rang style unless you want to murder me laugh ). I am also open to some BL (eg. Zankoku na Kami ga Shihaisuru). No ecchi (if it is, needs to be really light and have awesome story/characters) or yuri please.
Easily hooked by lovable characters.

Manga/Manhua/Manhwa I love:
Tower of God <3 my latest obsession for the past year and a half
Holyland - recently started reading it...and I couldn't stop until I caught up
7 Seeds
Piano no Mori
Vinland Saga
Cheese in the Trap
Shingeki no Kyojin
Parasyte - got a soft heart for Migi~

Some Novels I've enjoyed:
The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor (Novel)
The Dresden Files (Jim Butcher) - love this series to death
Rai Kirah trilogy (Carol Berg)
Farseer/Liveship/Tawny Man trilogies (Robin Hobb)
Mistborn (Brandon Sanderson) - he writes some great action. Same with Brent Weeks.
Kingkiller Chronicles (Patrick Rothfuss)

My lists are public, so please take a look.

Sci-fi/Fantasy Novels reading list: http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/3420997-blueharo?shelf=sci-fi-fantasy& sort=date_read

Anime list, just click my sig.

Need to take a well deserved break from my midterms~
Hope you all can help me wink

Maybe you try some of these then Id and The Breaker. Both were manhwa, Id pretty much fits your description since especially the fantasy part with a shoujoish kinda feel to it while The Breaker is a martial art. Both were awesome in term of art and were quite long great for study break cool. And this one Zero might fit you supernatural fetish peace smile wink grin

Well, if you are reading LMS (you could look at the summaries over at jcafe/royalroad if you don't read Korean), The Legend of Sun Knight (Novel) is also a good light novel. I also see that you are reading 1/2 Prince. Sun Knight is from the same author, but I think it's a better story. I just don't particularly like how 1/2 prince was heading...
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
I was put off by the whole "Transplanting the minds of and killing the beta testers to create trapped self-aware NPCs."

As for manga... I think you'd like Wolf's Mouth: Wolfsmund. Of course, you could probably take a gander at my lists yourself.

Skyhigh series would probably work as well.

If you just want to kill some time, go look at tvtropes.

Edit:
Also, don't read atlas shrugged... I see that you have read twilight and generally did not like it. atlas shrugged is like twilight to me, as similar to twilight... it is generally considered so poorly written that I wish not to understand, from a first-hand experience, exactly How bad it is... just like I'm not going to read battlefield earth. Yes, I'm not as patient as Oatmeal. So, I can't say for sure that atlas shrugged is a horrible story riddled with logical fallacies, but I can tell you that it is generally considered as such.

You might want to check out Philip K. Dick's stuff, the poor bastard.

I've watched now and then, here and there and terra e. Generally like the ideas going in though I got nearly completely thrown off by both of their endings xD
I will add ano hana and ef to my to-watch lists since I hear good things about both.
Probably give some of your recommendations for manga a try too.

@skat
Ive read many of those you have listed. However, how is Jormungand? I heard it's like Black Lagoon (I love the anime) but not as good (?).

I'm already following Id. Does have a kind of shoujoish look and seems like really typical fantasy. Been meaning to try The Breaker for a while. Heard it takes a while to pick up though so I've been a bit hesitant.

@caozhi
I've watched most of the anime on the anime list. Many of the others, waiting to watch with a friend. I will look into the manga list. though it is pretty extensive~

@Toto
Didn't try legend of sun knight since the translations releases seem to be erratic. Plus I'm not sure which group to follow.
Lol Oatmeal. Just have to love them. IMO, Twilight was like reading a typical, mediocre shoujo manga that slowly morphed into a giant sludgemonster from the pits of hell. Couldn't help laughing all the way 'til the end though *facepalm*
That author doesn't drive me as crazy as Mercedes Lackey...but that's a different story laugh

Thanks for the replies so far. Any more suggestions? biggrin

I like the way you keep track of stuff. i have yet to ascend from lowly txt file origins. Missing from your novel list

Sci/fi:
* Foundation series(asimov) read in publication order. surprised you dont have it cos eve no jikan was referring to asimov laws
* Revelation space(alastair reynolds)
* The Reality Dysfunction
* Stranger in a Strange Land

Fantasy:
* Vampire chronicles(anne rice) twilight evolved...a few million years perhaps

Manga/anime: you have a really long list...try those
* Angel beats
* Gintama
* Cowboy bebop
* Mizu no kotoba
* book of bantorra

Chaos;Head nicely fit your requirements. The title's main theme is delusion with some murder elements, and the story stays dark for the whole series (from the beginning to the end), even though there's some harem elements but the ecchi didn't exist. Also, the MC portrays a realistic behaviour of otaku. However, since the story sounds confusing and ridiculous, avoid every threads about this show (it contains spoilers in it), so I'll suggest you solely either reading the manga or watch the 12-episode anime (since it's based on a video game), and if you play the game then watch the anime, you'll be dissapointed.

Steins;Gate is created by the same company as C;H, but time travel play a major role this time. I'll suggest you watching the anime, and as I said with C;H, avoid every threads about this show if you don't be spoiled, and S;G has 24 episodes. The first half sounds less ridiculous than C;H but still, while the second half sounds much more awesome. I'll suggest you watching S;G first before venturing to C;H.
