I've looked through some recruiting posts but the selections don't interest me much...so here I am. I can translate freelance for anyone needing help with mini series/short stories/one shots. The only reason I don't want to join a group permanently is because I'll feel bad about going MIA on a long term project because of college, RL, etc.

I'm a native Japanese and English speaker; I don't have much experience outside of Storm in Heaven (I was there under the name 'Aki', I've worked on Yami no Kodou and the last chapters of Tsuki no Sabaku, which is currently on the top page) but I can translate comfortably with or without furigana. If you have some sort of entry level test feel free to send/link me to one, I love tests!

I'd love to work on projects that are close to what Storm in Heaven picked up: not too major, nice artwork, deep plots, something along those lines. I'm mainly into seinen/josei/BL but I'll most likely translate whatever's thrown at me as long as it's not immature or too "moe" (like Lucky Star or K-ON, no offense to anyone who likes them!).

Alright, I hate having to address this, but frankly I'm disappointed in this community. It's one thing to send me samples and politely ask for my help (like the ladies who replied here); it's a different thing telling me to hurry up and reply 'if you can translate or not'. Yes, I did offer to look through your selections and translate if something interests me, but here's the thing: I'm not entitled to do anything for you, especially since I'm not in your group and committed to working with you. That shouldn't come as a surprise since we're all doing this for our enjoyment. I'm tired of checking this site and seeing 10+ messages that don't even have the words 'thanks for your consideration' or 'please' in them, and I'd never be that rude if I were responding to someone else's recruitment post.

With that being said, if you do have anything that seems relevant to my first post, shoot me a PM and hopefully we can work something out!
