Not sure how many of you read this for the story like I did but... The ending is depressing.

I can relate. Didn't care for the ending that much either. I read it for the titillation and story both. Funny how you can even do that, eh.

But I guess Aki had her reasons, considering the situation of their mother and father.

Well, she may have had her reasons but the ending was just poorly done none the less.

So let's say two close siblings, such as in this case, are the fruit of the relationship of two close siblings....

well it was ended that way for the sake of plot only. It was totaly out of character for her to leave that way. All through the story, she was the one that had no problem with the relationship at all. She was super obsessed with sora too, and then we are expected to believe that she just changes in an afternoon. I do t think so.... Then she leaves and doesn't talk to him for 3 years. It just not in her character. Then it leaves us with yet another ambigious ending at the gravesite. The japanese just arnt very good at ending a story. Thry come up with great setups and plot lines, but they usually start going downhill tword the end.

I had to reply to this for the original manga could have kept going but due to a few different laws passed in japan which forbid some genre I assume the author wanted to place an ending on it how ever horrible it was or it would have been left unfinished.

The manga could have continued but Akita Shoten would have needed to publish the series as hentai and they didn´t want that so we got a flabbergasting crap fest of an end. How fitting . Well at least i was entertained by the whole affair. 1/10
How crazy is it that this manga is dedicated to a dead friend of the author.
I am truly at a loss for words.

I am writing(at work to train my english) one for the Cross Ange(or Misogyny) anime right now because i cannot beleave Namco Bandai is putting such a thing on national televison and will post it on the manga´s page here. I am already at 2000 with only a 40% of the train-explosion having aired.
One episode could have been dedicated to menstruation appreciation .
All Aki Sora fans need to tune in because it promisses incest, allready had a lesbain orgy and tonight Ange ripped of Symphogear, had a yuri Romeo X Julliet timeloop and arguably a man getting raped by a female dragon while his wheelchairbound sister walked in. Fukuda you crazy.

How long did it take? I don't know, when I feel strongly about something, words just flow, and it's not like I was particularly concerned about the word count. It probably took less than an hour to write, but the proof reading is always endless as the last error I found was eight months later. (Actually, I think I found another one recently, but don't want to modify the edit date...)

The comment itself is something of a parody, though. It's not really written in my own tone, but more in the voice of someone who was introduced to Aki-Sora as something deep and meaningful, yet was completely letdown.

It probably took me longer to write my second post in the 'Chapter 26' thread because I really had to stretch and don a persona I didn't believe in. Both of those posts are about 2500 words a piece, and truth be told, I actually had a response to Seijurou's last post, and it went on for 10,000+ words. No, that's not an exaggeration, I still have it saved on my hard drive and just checked. In the end, I didn't post it because I felt my previous two posts still stood strong, and Seijurou was spewing his usual nonsense anyway, so I banked on the hope that any fool who bothered to read the thread had sense enough to agree with me.

Anyway, that's how it is. In general, I can't find the motivation to write about things unless I mock them in some way, or more accurately, I need to mock them while I'm playing a "character" in my mind. I feel it's hard to write using my genuine feelings, for whatever reason.

alot of people believe that ending is set up to allow for the ending you like. namely after this story, if you believe it to still be taboo . but if after the story you believe that could be an acceptable relationship .

but personally i think the true ending starts earlier, namely chapter 29.

but again unless its published definitively, we will never know for sure.

I don't believe that Aki and Sora could be in an acceptable relationship, but I choose to believe that they ended up together purely out of spite. That's the only way this tripe garbage could possibly end.

Also... I hope your alot is doing well.

Ending wise its ok. They were vague about if they reunited or not after that gap (Chapter 30 ending). Sora also visits his mother's grave for the first time in a long time as he mistakenly thought all this time the mother he grew up most of his life with was his own mother when in actuality is his aunt his mother's identical twin sister. Aki split up with Sora to protect their future and not experience the same suffering their parents went through.

You are wrong. I will accept no other ending than them ending up together. The most vain, idiotic ending is all this crap deserves.


I will argue this until nothing makes sense anymore.
