When i look 4 a manga with demons most take place in the past or dont have to much action and are more comedy. any suggestions for a manga with demons and a more modern setting? I dont mind the comedy just that some are all comedy with no real story to it.

Chrno Crusade 1920's. Lot of action, limited comedy.
High school DxD present time, a lot of comedy still the action isn't so bad.
Aflame Inferno same as above.
Check Chrno Crusade at least, since it's pretty good.

beelzebub would be kinda something u are looking for
it plays in modern japan is funny and has a lot of fighting in it
(cuz the main characters are in a deliquent highschoool
demons dont play that big a role at the beginning but it gets more as the story continous)

Surprised nobody's recommended Devilman yet. Well, as long as your consider the 70s a modern setting haha. Probably the best demon manga of all time though.
