I actually got many good recommendations here that were not categorized as josei.

Like D-ASH, Melo Holic, Velvet Kiss, Nineteen, Twenty-One, Hetakoi and many others.

But annyways thanks for pointing it out!

I already searched for josei mangans with the search engine and saved all the interesting ones I could find. But I got a lot of good recomendations here that where not categorized as josei, and even many that was, but that i had never seen or noticed before.

Hey I just got to the last translated chapter of Hetakoi! Really enjoying it. Waiting for further translation now. Thanks for cool recomendations!

/face palm to whoever cannot appreciate good Josei. You people are totally missing out. Yeah, there are some shitty stuff out there, but that goes for other genres as well. Besides, there are also so many amazing stories out there, you'd be retarded to shut all of them out, just because.

Going to recc some topnotch Josei (imho), which is Kawachi Haruka's Natsuyuki Rendezvous. It's being animated and coming out in July on Noitamina, according to this site:

Yes, she's a female author and does write Josei, but she knows her craft well. I would also recommend Sekine's Love by the same author as well. At least there's a hint of a progressing romance?

You'll find some of the most bizarrely beloved characters in Kawachi Haruka's mangas. smile

Good reading, to you.

Koi wa Misoji o Sugite kara is the only thing I have read that looks like what you're after.

I don't think anyone was slamming josei, the opposite in fact. It's just that most of the OP's examples were seinen or ecchi, the opposite of josei. As pointed out by reid1, josei covers a wide range, and it's better to list a few pertinent examples (as you and saxenas1 have attempted to do) than to just say 'josei'.
