I don't get your post yet but there are some genres that I dislike the most for example those hentai mangas, they are disgusting and nobody will make me read them!
Apart from that maybe shonen and some annoying shojo

Non comedic yaoi/shounen ai. Its got more rape than shinjo mayu. Who is incidentally the author that almost made me hate shoujos. The reason is the same for both. Rape.rape.rape.semi-rape.love isn't a fricken plot, and a guy being "hot" doesn't make it any less of a rape.

I dont like hentai and eichi mangas-
It just makes me uncomfortable

not a fan of manhwa or manhua ive tried to read a few but the stories always turn out really bad and the characters always really bland

i dont like josie (i just cant get into them for some reason), horror, mecha, historical (for all the mess up in historical acuracy, it does not only apply to manga in these genre), sci-fi, and most yuri (romance in them is just to darn sweet for my taste, nothing bad happens in the romance in these usually or they end up way to lovey dovey) and in complete agreence with the guy above me on the manhua, manwa thing so many i find are just bland or missing something either in character depth, story or the art work with a few exceptions to the rule, the best ive found was "Orange Marmalade" for these, tell me if you know of some better ones


and ill help with the yaoi convincing, for this one im a guy and straight actually i thought i would give it a try and i guess i was lucky but i found one i like after a couple of different attempts, cuase ill try any genre once for the most part (some i just cant find any i like at all in, mentioned above), but i think for the most part the trick to liking some of these genres is to start out slow, and test the waters carefully at first, the first one i read was actually "Lucky Numer 13" actually, and that opened the eyes enough to keep going, another idea is to find one that has other genres you like so that it is not as big of a factor, or even start at shounenai wich is usually way lighter, but this is all just my opinion

have you tried Dear My Girls, Flower of Evil, Annarasumanara, Savage Garden. These are some pretty good Manhwa

for the person who said this: i somewhat agree with you. i went through alot of different manhwas and mahuas looking for something that might be interesting.
and then i came to an author named Hwang mi ri.
now im actually a huge romance junkie and like it to have an at least somewhat good plot, so i was in doubt. however, i liked the art so i decided to give it a try.
she writes a lot of stories on women who kick ass and are in school gangs. if your not interested i understand but you should try some out. they are REALLY good.
some of her works are Idol Shopping and Hot Blooded Woman.

another is a manhua called 1/2 Prince.
i was putting this one off for a long while because it said it was sci fi, but it actually really isn't. the story is fantastic and the characters are great. its also hilarious.

Though, it's not that it makes me uncomfortable, I just don't care for it. Being asexual tends to have that effect on a person. I wish you luck in convincing me to broaden my horizons.

I do not like any shounen-ai or yaoi, if there is a little hint of it I stop reading straightaway. I also don't read shounen and rarely seinen. And oh, no ecchi (well a little is okay I guess) and I also don't like manhwas in general (except of Flowers of Evil). Please persuade me any good ones
