Have you watched or read Eureka Seven?

Started the anime. I agree that it's not your usual dumb mecha, but I didn't like it for other reasons (simply couldn't get into it).

Sports- How can you dislike sports....? Have you tried "Nononono", "Eyeshield 21", "Slam Dunk", "Hikaru no Go" (sort of), "Kuroko no Basket"

They're just boring ^^ I find computer and even board games infinitely more complex and interesting. Btw, you can link to manga pages like this: [m]Manga Name[/m], for example: Eyeshield 21

That said, I think I'll read Nononono. Thanks.

Martial Arts- eh, lots of good martial arts manga do eventually lead to impossible moves. Some less fantastical but still interesting ones are: "Holyland", "All rounder Meguru", "RRR", "Vagabond"
>>unrealistic but ones I still find are awesome: "The God of High School", "The Breaker", "Change guy", "Threads of Time", "Gamaran"

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check them out.

There are not many genres I can think of that I hate unconditionally. It all comes down to the story for me. The ones that do repulse me are generally shotacon, lolicon, anything to do with inappropriately touching little kids.

Well, can't argue on this one and I'd rather not see somebody trying to convince you they're cool.

I don't particularly like mecha, sports manga and hentai/ecchi.

Why?

Mecha, I just find those robot suits very silly... I have yet to find any such suit cool. And they always throw stupid kids in them that shouldn't be able to pilot them, but then they're said to have talent but then again they're still stupid kids.
(I already watched Bokurano, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Code Geass)

Sports, I hate to watch anything involving sports. I don't like to watch sports matches on TV, radio or anywhere else. Manga is no exception. Sports bore me. Very much.

Hentai/ecchi, I just don't find it sexy. It's rather obvious for me that it's targeted at men, and I don't bother to brows through stacks of it, just to find one I like.

If someone is brave enough to recommend me something from these words, please feel free to do so.

Shotacon/lolicon isn't my thing either, but this I don't want any recommendations for.

Hentai -
Take on Me and Pink Sniper are probably my favorite happy-hentai titles.

I don't like lolicon either, but an ecchi with little girls you might want to try is Chokotto Sister.
And maybe Kodomo no Jikan, if you don't mind overly sexualized lolis...

I'm not a big fan of horror. I can take some, but not very much.

You should try Break Blade.

I also didn't like mecha series (the only exception being Neon Genesis Evangelion (anime) but when I first read Break Blade it instantly got my attention.

Let's see...

Food Girls Ecchi
Saki Ecchi
All Rounder Meguru Sports
Hoshi no Koe Mecha... It's on your wish list already; so, go ahead and read it already.

Whenever there is something that you don't particularly like, you should look for something that is not specifically about that subject. Look for things that have it in addition to a well crafted story... unless it's ecchi... in which case, you need to look for art that you like as well.

This suggestion really apply to everyone here.

Horror:
Look Me in the Eyes When You Talk
L∞P
Doctor Du Ming
Rome Rome
Semi-Eternal Happy End

As for incest, you don't have to like incest to like a series that has it in it.
Die is a good example of this.
Fat
Pokerface

Try Ecchi artbooks then...

Horror:
Uzumaki - more creepy than scary imo. Definitely an interesting read.
Kiseijuu - has a lot of fighting, not bad.

loli & shota= stumble upon these genre will result in uncomfortable feeling when facing children in real life afterwards.. And since there are lots of them, no, try change me not of this please.

hentai= usually no plot twisted, wicked, crazy, inhumane, hyperbolic and unrealistic.. Totally unappealing.. Perhaps that's why I am OK with most yaoi but not with hentai. Why not make the scene natural, affectionate, normal-sized, yet still serve a good sex? Hentai failed me.

war & gore = just no.

I am the same!!! HIGH FIVE!!!! I dont know why girls like yaoi or shonen ai a lot even though im a girl and i also stop reading whatever if there's even the tiniest hint of them no matter if the story is good. However, have you watch Ouran High School Hosr Club ( i recomend looking for the anime version since manga version has horrible art for my taste). The twins, Hikaru and Kaoru somehow post a shounen ai theme which is the main reason that prevented me from checking it out asap. But one day i decided to watch it on netflix and i ended up liking it so effing much. Its hella hilarious, and i found out that the twin characters only act as the loving twincest for show but they are not really in love with each other unlike a typical shounen ai. Though it is hinted, i guess i just consider it as a fanservice.

@Nirhtuc
WHAT THE FREAK?!?! Have you ever even seen Skip Beat and Kaichou wa Maid-sama?!?!? And these example are just a two pieces of sand grain compared to other hundreds of shoujo mangas out there. Though there are hella lots of crybaby heroines, i've also seen buttloads of ass-kicking shoujo heroines too. Seriously, you still have a lot to go in expanding your horizon.

@Lady de Ferval
I am about to prove you wrong with this hella awesome shounen mecha action anime, "Tengen Toppa Gurren Laggan" it even has some shoujo themes into it and hella funny too. Theres a lot more shounen I'd like to recomend but i guess u should just start of with this one. Seriously, once you watch the first episodes, you'd find yourself staying up all night watching this. For girl's advantage, it has romance with innocent female lead (but the girl im talking about it the blue-green haired one with flower eyes, not the bikini-wearing red headed female lead). Also, its non-harem
