I forgot the manga name but I remember this one particular scene
The main girl was with a friend and ordering from the juice/coffee dispenser and something happens and she accidentally gets coffee. The main guy (at this point they don't know each other) comes along and she asks if he was going to buy coffee, so then she could give it to him instead since she doesn't like it. He says no but ends up buying coffee anyways right in front of her and thus gives off his image as a jerk.

Later when they get to know each other, she goes to buy them both drinks and ends up getting him coffee (this was in the classroom and I think at a date in the movies). Turns out he didn't like coffee at all.

I don't remember what the manga was from? I know this is pretty specific and broad but at least I can try?

I'll check it out; thanks it sounds very likely. I'm a huge fan of Obata, Yuuki so it would make a lot of sense.
