i personally dont own anything- but people who do really annoy me.

I don't mean like a keychain or some other little accessory- but like a big flambouyant naruto sweater, or an anime backpack clearly made for little kids, or a cat-ears hoodie and your hair dyed purple- or something else on the brink of cosplay. i cant tell you how many losers at my high school walked around wearing naruto headbands or akatsuki jackets. i find it increadbly uncomfortable to look at.
chances are the people who dress like that are the same anime obsessed weeaboos who use words like 'baka' or 'kawaii' in everyday talk. you are not japanese, you will never be japanese, stop pretending to do so- its just dorky and sad.

I have a Death Note keychain (of L, the letter L and a small metal plate with Death Note on it) on my keys that was given to me and I have two Naruto t-shirts. They're both white but one of them is of Gaara and it's right in the middle of the t-shirt and the other one is of Kakashi but located at the bottom left corner so it's okay to wear casually smile

I don't have anything that shouts out "Cosplay!".

I see no reason why not. It's silly that some people are overly self-conscious about it. No one is going to corner you and interrogate you about your shirt, necklace, charm, etc. People really don't care what you are wearing unless you are taking it to the extreme by cosplaying. Anyway, I have a simple FLCL shirt and that is all. I have more game related merchandise, which is just some shirts and necklaces.

Depend on the design. If its looks good, why not? Especially if its usable.

The problem is that most of anime related goods in my country have bad quality, and the real good one are expensive, so I rarely buy/use one. But I do have (and use) some key chain, and other merchandise (book notes, journal, pin, ...) that are related to anime/manga.

I don't own any merch, but I don't think it would be a big deal to wear a t-shirt or something in public. I have a t-shirt with Itchy and Scratchy from the Simpsons, so I wouldn't think of wearing a t-shirt with characters from an anime being any different from wearing a t-shirt with cartoon characters. I think as long as you're not overdoing it, liked dressed head to toe in merch, you're fine.

I already do-- it's a simple cross key chain with "B★RS" on it (If you consider having a key chain on you as "wearing" it). But I don't think I'd personally go as far as to wear a bag or a t-shit with an anime motif, even though it's pretty damn common here in the Philippines.

I used to have a black knight (code geass) symbol keychain that I would always wear but I lost it in one of the boxes after moving. I prefer the non-blatant anime merchs that only people who watched the show would get while others would think it's just a trinket.

about the previous poll.
i'm one of the voters, who hates "discontinued / hiatus series"
who wouldn't? especially if the series has lots of potential for being a longer series
just like "Nononono"...= n =... OTL

about the current poll.
i voted for "i already do"

1. I bought it and I want to use it.
2. I don't care about "public opinion" =P
it's my item, not theirs.
3. I'm proud to be an anime/manga fan.
Heck, if I have lots of money I'll buy every manga I've read so far even if it's in RAW. =D

I think it really depends on the anime/manga, hahaha. I probably wouldn't wear anything from, say, InuYasha, but I could from other ones that I really enjoyed.

I don't think most people would even know what it is anyway, I wouldn't be embarrassed to wear it.

No, I wouldn't. I'm already using my idol group (Arashi) merchandise when I go out. I'd never change them to an anime/manga one. no

I have Pokemon cellphone straps attached to a couple of my USB sticks and this adorable pikachu shirt I just can't part with X3 Other than that nothing, but that's just because anime/manga merchandise is hard to get here... The stuff online is sometimes just awesome and I'd buy it in a heartbeat, if the stuff didn't all have to come from the US, which like triples the price >.<
