I want a high status male lead(idol, heir/head of corporation, future/current politition, royalty, etc.) That is completely obsessed with a relatively normal girl, and preferrable if he acts completely different around her. An example would new mamotte agemasu. Anyway lead has to pick someone waaaaaaaay below his status for pretty much no reason at all .

So yeah. Anything that involves an overly protective and doting love interest that is a complete cliche of a perfect guy. Also its ok if they are eccentric like in ouran host club

Needed:
Insanely wealthy and/or famous.
Uncondition love towards normal girl
Preferable:
Usually harsh but sweet towards girl
Female lead isn't wishy-washy(basically ignores any love rivals)
Guy shows restraint
Negatives:
Guy bullies girl
Guy is entirely too overprotective(its sweet until they turn psycho stalker)
"Guy basically rapes her but its apparently ok cuz he loves her" crap (I.e. Love celeb)

Also any supernatural stuff like hana to akuma and akuma to dolce are fine as long as they are royalty/reknown in some fashion.

Anyway I basically want it to make no sense at all. I want a lead that should be a self absorbed a-hole, but somehow turned out to be a someone with an professional attitude towards work, and is caring and devoted towards a girl that is way below the level of 1k of his fans that would gladly be his slave.... makes 0 logical sense but makes for a rly mushy and fun read

I was in a mood for a manga like this too And I started re-reading Hana yori Dango, I think it fits. It has some (all?) of the negatives but they didn't annoy me in this manga, perhaps it will be the same with you

Rather hesitant to read atm, but ill be sure to give it a try if nothing that fits is suggested today. Otherwise ill just read it after I get sick of the ridiculous sweetness I'm looking for lol

Dear my girls is the only one I can think of that I'm reading right now.

There seems to be far fewer of these manga than I would have expected. Guess the "perfect guy" cliche isn't cliche in manga lol.

This reminded me of SLH, which is pretty cliched. Lets say we knew what's going to happen, but I had my little hope. Little tsundere at first but finally perfect prince at the end.

Anyway, my biggest dissapointment with this author is on another work *still can't overcome that*

Steel Rose? The guy's rich,famous, loves the girl, the girl isn't wishy-washy.

I also recommend Ingenuo (he sort of bullies her, but it's mostly work-related).

Annnd Private Prince the guy is a prince, rich, likes normal girl (with big boobs) usually nice to her.
