then you should do two things:
1st: use the recruitment section
2nd: rephrase your title, so that it's obvious that you want to help out as proofreader
(but you should be able to find out if there is any group that is currently working on your title, and I don't know if any group can afford to pick up a random series just by getting another proof-reader, so don't get your hopes up...)
