Im really confused, because as i remember, Orochimaru could use his hands after he transferred so what Suigetsu said doesnt make sense and that revival method is really just pushing it.

Suigustu was locked up for a long time, its possible hes referring to the last time he saw orochimaru rather than the last time orochimaru was alive.

Sounds plausible but i dont think he was, or id atleast think he would know since he met Sasuke and Orochimaru where he was captive so i would think he could see Orochimaru using his hands.

Doesn't Orochimaru seem more......resigned this time, like he doesn't have any evil intentions, it seems weird haha

He still wants Sasuke's body, but he's less aggressive now

I just think that's what he wants everyone to think. I really doubt that Orochhimaru would ride off of other people's coat tail. I thinks if he want to take over or destroy the leaf village, he would want to do it him self. Even though I'm not sure why the author brought him back, its still quite refreshing to see alot of old faces. The only thing that bothers me in the chapter is Sasuke, it looks like he want to switch sides but don't want to say it out loud =_=.

i agree with both. neither one seems as "let's destroy konoha!" gung-ho as before. i was thinking "sasuke you idiot" the whole time. but he didn't feel as entergetic as before. and why should he? his entire beliefs and foundations were shattered--again. seriously, he should be used to this. the only reason why he won't come back is because he's enitrely too stubborn, and changing now makes him look lame and like a child.

It kind of pissed me off how Orochimaru got revived like that...
after getting sealed away "forever" by Itachi. The curse seal being senjutsu ties everything neatly together though (when you think about it). Many chapters ago Kabuto did say that he had to struggle with Orochimaru's life force in order to maintain his personality and not be taken over.

I wonder if Orochimaru absorbed Kabuto's snake senjutsu ability though... Orochimaru clearly wasn't able to use the snake senjutsu before, which is why he was relying on the curse seal senjutsu...

What bothers me the most about current events though is how Itachi managed to beat Kabuto, even without eye contact... Uchiha really don't need any MORE bullshit instant win powers. What bothers me almost as much as that is Sasuke's ideology... What the heck is the point in trying to learn "everything" when he stated that he hates Konoha even more right now and won't change his mind about being a crazy emo prick.

Edit: Forgot to mention one thing. Why in the world does Sasuke still care for Itachi after what Itachi did? Itachi killed their parents in cold blood, not to mention the whole damn clan itself... Sure Itachi was kind of "forced" to kill the clan to prevent civil war, but he still had a choice... therefore it makes sense that all surviving Uchiha should really hate him for being a traitor. Plus the whole thing about your brother killing your parents can't be forgiven that easily...

So where are they planning to go? Maybe to the place where Uchia clan's temple located..... I mean the place where it is written about the 9 beasts and other legends which can only be seen by selective Uchia people.

If you'll try to see the last couple of chapters, especially the flashback, it seems that Itachi really didn't "intentionally" kill his parents. it was the parents who force itachi to kill them. Remember, the father even said that he's so "gentle"?

They did not force him, they knew it was a mission he had to do and commented that he was gentle because he was crying for what he was about to do.

i liked this chapter but the idea of Sasuke possibly being less evil in the sense of his hatred and crazyness is kinda sad =/. Why would Kishi pull Sasuke back like this after his epic moment of stabbing karin lol. Damnit i really wanted to see Sasuke go on a killing spree on the battlefield be so damn epic......

Any1 else agree? I guess i just dont like Kishis style of Sasuke's role during this war. It's like hes keeping him kinda out of it by having him be busy with questions and answers lol

I'll give Kishimoto some credit in that there's a lot of shades of gray here in Sasuke's thought processes, which is a good thing. (Though he'll probably turn back into a raving looney just so he can fight Naruto.)

I think the purpose in Sasuke wanting to learn everything is that so far, all his actions have been driven by half-truths and outright lies. He's burning with hatred for Konoha after meeting Itachi again, but there's a whole other side to what happened with the Uchiha massacre that he knows nothing about. Instead of blindly continuing to rush forward, he wants to get to the bottom of it all so he can make an educated decision on what to do.

Naruto has a pretty clear idea of what he's fighting for, what makes him a ninja. Sasuke has only ever been driven by revenge, and has never thought about what being a ninja meant, what might drive someone like Itachi to choose his village over his family. I guess now Sasuke wants to understand, and to figure out what his duty is to his family and as a ninja?

[I wonder who the person is he intends to get his answers from? Does he want Orochimaru to revive Danzo? Take him to see a sage of some sort?]

About Itachi, I don't think Sasuke is OK with what he did. Itachi acknowledged that right before he disappeared (he said "you never have to forgive me," which implies Sasuke hasn't and may never forgive him). However, I think Sasuke's feelings for Itachi are like the feelings his parents had for him: they loved him despite the fact that he chose to kill them. (Familial love is a complicated thing: Jeffrey Dhamer's father still loved and supported his son, despite his horror over what he did.)

Despite that, I agree with you: at the end of the day, Itachi chose to kill his own parents. It's not a choice Naruto, for example, would have ever made. With the way he's killing himself to save Sasuke, a guy he isn't actually related to, you know Naruto would have moved heaven and earth to protect Konoha and his family if he'd ever been given the same choice.
