Chapter 64: Hakusenkan has just been ranked 2nd school in the area. First place is Kokusen. The Hakusenskan director wants to create an entertainment facility on school grounds because she wants to match up to Kokusen. So the SA plan to make one, but they're having a hard time deciding since it can only be one thing. So Hikari is the one set to decide. First, they all decide to get some real ideas from spying on the Kokusen facilities. Hikari makes it in fine because she has a Kokusen uniform (thanks to Kei's grandfather). After being caught by Yahiro and given a tour, they all show her what they want: Akira wants a salon, Jun wants hotsprings, Megumi wants an opera house, Tadashi wants a mountain, Ryu wants an animal center, and Kei doesn't want any part of it^^. Hikari finds that it's a hard decision because they're all great. But she then askes herself where this facility is being put. She askes the director directly, where she is told the Greenhouse will be torn down to make room. Hikari's favorite place is the Greenhouse, so she comes up with the idea to make the greenhouse itself into the facility. She suggests having everything they came up with put in the greenhouse (Tadashi's option is obviously denied). When Tadashi jokes about the greenhouse being demolished if they don't do this, Hikari starts crying. The SA sense something really is wrong and go to the director when she calls them. They still don't know why Hikari was crying, but they tell the director that they themselves will be the entertainment^^. The director tells them that they had better beat Kokusen in the dust because if they don't, their Greenhouse will be demolished.
Chapter 65: The challenge to Kokusen turns into a national high school event. Hakusenkan is participating, of course. The SA feel confident about this right? Only one problem...Kei and Ryu are not getting along. Ryu explains to readers that it all started when he kept on seeing Kei with that blond girl (he saw her with him three times to be exact). When he called to ask about it, Ryu suspected it to be two-timing (and Kei obviously got mad for him even suggesting it~^^). Throughout the next few days, they seem to just be getting worse instead of better. Yahiro and Sakura come to tell them they don't intend to lose this event. They also tell them that teams have to be made up of a total of 8 people, so Ryu askes Finn if she'll participate (she totally agrees). On Saturday, the preliminary rounds begin. Everyone has been pre-chosen for each event. The line-up is the worst one yet: Tadashi and Jun are dancing, Finn and Megumi are cosplaying, Akira is competing in tennis, Ryu and Kei are competing in beach ball, and Hikari is cooking. The thing that makes them the most angry with this line-up is Kei and Ryu being put together to compete as a tagteam. So as they're participating in each event, Kokosen seems to beat them in everything. But we get to the main part of the chapter: Ryu and Kei's match against Kokusen beachball players. Kei's being a ball hog. Ryu tells him he has the back guard, but Kei tells him he can do this all by himself. What Finn told Ryu before the competition about not being distant about something comes back to his mind. He tells Kei that he's being distant and askes Kei why he's even there. Kei is shocked to hear his sudden outburst and tells Ryu that he doesn't want to get him invoved anymore than he already is. Ryu then understands that Kei does not want him to get involved in something much more complicated...After finally coming to an understanding, Kei and Ryu work as a team and defeat Kokusen beachball players. Later, Kei tells Ryu that right now, he's working on something important and that girl he saw with him is involved. He askes Ryu to not tell anybody, especially Hikari. Meanwhile...the cooking event is done and...Hakusenkan's cooking lost completely^^. When they see the score board for the preliminaries, Kokusen is in 1st place and Hakusenkan is in 2nd place. Everyone (except Ryu and Kei) are upset by this of course^^.
Chapter 66: The offical tournament for the "High School with the Most Elite Students in the Country" begins. Sakura informs the Hakusenkan team that they must create a promo video representing their school. They watch Kokusen's video (with disgust). Finn recognizes one of the men in the video as the cosplayer who talked down to her in the preliminaries. She says she's going to be in their PV. Hikari then nominates Kei to also be in it. He can't refuse because Hikari has that twinkle in her eyes saying "do it for me~". It isn't until later that they actually see their PV on the big screen in the stadium the events are being held in. Hakusenkan takes first place in the PV challenge (because Kei and Finn together are irresistible^^). Hikari continues to place Kei in different events from her because she wants to give him a chance to become closer friends with everyone else. The two beachball players see that with ever event, Hakusenkan is getting first in each one. They go to the Hakusenkan bench to spy for any weaknesses Kei might have. They overhear Ryu and Tadashi saying that kei never says "no" to Hikari...Skipping events and such...they finally arrive at the last event. They all dress up in European renaissance-like clothes and enter a big, luxerious room. The rules are simple: carry on conversations with anyone. Girls must always end their sentences politely, and men must always end each sentence with the name of the person they're talking with. So the challenge starts. Hikari tells Kei to go talk with other people. Just then, the two beachball boys (one is named Tokita by the way) come up and seperate Kei and Hikari. Tokita ends up making Hikari mad, causing her to not end her speech politly and she becomes disqualified. Before she can fall into the floor, Kei catches her. Tokita points out that for helping a disqualified person, he's disqualified too. Kei gets mad at him and says he is indeed defeated (but has such an evil aura that Tokita falls to the ground^^). When the event is over, it turns out that Hakusenkan has the most remaining people and they win. But Kei could care less as he takes Hikari into the hall outside. Hikari askes if he doesn't want to make friends with others, and he says all he wants is Hikari at the time. he also says he wants to kiss her. She argues back, but ends up giving in to his wish. Just when they're about to kiss, Tadashi runs up and says the awards ceremony is beginning. Hikari pushes Kei away...and Tadashi can't help but know he's inturrupted something again^^.
Chapter 67: After Hakusenkan's victory, the SA have become even more popular. But this isn't quite good for Atsushi, Hikari's older brother. Boys at his school pressure him to let them meet Hikari, but he always refuses to do it right away. Hikari investigates what is causing Atsushi trouble and plans to take action on the people who are threatening him. Kei senses she's getting herself into trouble, so he goes along with her. When Atsushi learns that HIkari went to fight, he breaks away from his normal, peaceful attitude and goes completely "ogre" on us^^. When he finds that Hikari had already beaten up the men, he turns away. He tells her not to look at him because last time she saw his angry expression, she fainted. Hikari assures him she will not faint this time and tells him to turn around. From that day forward, Atsushi had a certain reputation at school for being known as "Basaka Hanazono".
Chapter 68: Hikari's family gives Hikari to Kei after Kei said he was envious of Atsushi for having a little sister. Hikari comes to stay at Kei's house to play the part as "Kei's little sister". Sui becomes extremely jealous of Hikari and the attention she's recieving. Sui is also suffering inside after he found a letter in Kei's room. It isn't until later that we find out that the letter was written by Kei himself, saying he'll be appearing at a meeting as the president of his company. Hikari reads it and questions Kei about it. Kei says it's not important, but Hikari argues back.
Chapter 69: Kei tells Hikari that he's planning on going to London to settle things once and for all. He says it'll be about a week...What Kei plans to do is move the Main Takishima branch to Japan, while giving most of the control of the company to Teo Epulton, the largest stockholder in the company. That's one of the conditions. The other condition is to convince Teo's granddaughter, Alisa, to study in Japan. Kei tries using Alisa's love of food to convince her to move to Japan. But while he tries to get her hooked on Japanese food, she's set for Mexico because she wants Mexican tacos. Meanwhile, Kei's grandfather can't clearly see why Kei is continuing to refuse staying in London. He then sees Hikari on the screen he's watching and knocks it over. He suddenly feels sick just by looking at her. he states, "Before he makes the same mistake...I must protect Kei." Later, Kei is about to give up hope of changing Alisa's mind for Japan, but she surprises him when she announces she's studying in Japan afterall. This makes him really happy...but that joy doesn't last long. Kei's grandfather calls him for dinner and discusses his possible marriage to Alisa, his current connection to Hikari, and his overall future. He tells Kei that he is to treat Alisa well, and as for Hikari...he has left the "disposal" of her to Aoi...
Doom....
Just so you didn't figure it out, Alisa is the blond girl we've seen Kei with throughout the chapters.
