Hey! I like Host Club. It's like that because it's suppose to be a parody... and isn't it called a reverse-harem?

For generic harem, how about Love Hina or Negima!? Those are two of the few harems I read...

You can't say that Love Hina and Negima are generic harems, those are two of the best mangas out there (not cause they're harems).

And someone mentioned Mahou Sensei Negima
I have to say that one is pretty original...
It also screems harem though lol... soooooo many female characters...
And then Negi is only 10...

I consider it a harem if there are 3 or more people in love with the main character, not only necessarily if the main character lives with alotta girls. At any rate, pastel and suzuka are pretty poorly done mangas =/.

Love hina isnt generic it's CLASSIC! bigrazz I wonder what the first harem manga ever was.

Are you kidding me? Suzuka is one the best ones out there, or do you think it was a bad harem because it actually had a plot? You want a BAD harem look at Eiken that one is horrid.
