I need a recommendation for a romance manga with a older female lead, Story shouldn't be overly dramatic or depressing, basically a light hearted sweet love-love manga.
Mangas of similar type I've read:
unbalanceXunbalance
kono onee san wa fiction desu
onegai teacher
ano natsu de matteru (though this was an anime)
Hetakoi (I'm pretty sure she was older)
a few more I can't remember.

The female doesn't really HAVE to be older, I'll be okay with it even if she has more authority (like a boss or a student council member or even a delinquent akin to sekitou elergy)
I tried reading kono s wo miyo but it was really not my cup of tea and left a bad taste in my mouth by chp 33.
Completed or not doesn't matter as long as its getting updated regularly (looking at you kannagi! though I can't really hate on it since the author is ill but what I mean is that the translation group didn't just suddenly drop it after doing a few chapters and it hasn't been updated in years)

Thanks in advance!

Classmate, Kamimura Yuuka wa Kou Itta.
Yandere Kanojo
Billionaire Girl
Youko x Boku SS
Nisekoi
Gan-Kon
Tokyo Ravens
Ore ga Akuma de, Aitsu ga Yome de.
Gwisin Byeolgok

Hoshi no Samidare
Melo Holic I really don't know who is older though... But give it a try.
Maison Ikkoku
Nineteen, Twenty-One
Chou Dokyuu Shoujo 4946 I guess
Mahoromatic
Nguruwa Kaihou

they all should fit to a certain degree.

Let's see - If you are fine with Shoujo and Josei, when they are not that stereotyped, or just running out of something to read, then maybe you could try ...

~ Ongoing ones:
* Bitou Lollipop - The female lead is in high school, while the male counterpart is in his last year of junior high, if I'm not mistaken.

* Liar x Liar - The 20-year-old main character runs into her stepbrother (months younger than her), while dressing up as high school girl and on a whim ends up pretending to be someone else.

~ Completed ones:
* Venus Kisoukyoku - The male character is younger and more feminine, than the female lead, which tends to see him as sibling till he confesses his feelings one day to her.

* Running Through the City In the Sunset - If you are fine with Manhwa, then you can find here the story of a 24-year-old woman meeting a 17-year-old student.

* Aka no Yuuwaku - Cute one shot, teacher x student.

* Otokonoko wa Hachimitsu - Charismatic oneshots; Ch. 1 "Honey Prince" and 3 "If I Disappear"

A crime that this hasn't been mentioned so far: Otoyomegatari

And this should count too even if it's supernatural since he's referring to her as 'senpai': Tasogare Otome x Amnesia

Lots of good ones were already mentioned. I can personally recommend Otoyomegatari, Bitou Lollipop and a few other from those already mentioned.

You could also try:
Choku! - comedy, girl is older by a year
Kandachime - not all that much romance there, since it's an action packed manga, but the sword girl looks older
Witchcraft Works - the girl seems to be the same age, but she has "more authority"
Shihou Sekai no Ou - the girl is Da boss

Its not that I hate Shoujo/josei its just that I find the art (particularly of the shoujo mangas) unbearable
and I don't like how in every last one of them the male lead is a super bishounen playboy (though I did lilke ouran and kimi no todoke)
As for the others I'll try them out thanks for all the replies.

Koi wa Misoji o Sugite kara - female boss. It says it's not complete, but I think the main story is complete. This one's ecchi, but also funny.

Maison Ikkoku for a classic.

Goshimei desu! - this one's really cute, and I was surprised to find it was shounen. You may not like it as the mangaka is a well-known shoujo artist. I think the characters are the same age.

That's all I have; I don't read much seinen/shounen romance.

I'll try out koi was misoji.

Just finished B-Shock, male character was cool, female lead was kind of annoying, overall I think the end was rushed.

any other recommendations? even just a sweet story with a tsundere will do. Or a moe type heroine like the one in comic studio.
