ive seen the freezing anime

in the anime,
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
stella was sexually abused by his older brother for a few years, and it only showed a few flashbacks. probably only went as far as touching her

is it the same on the manga or is it much much much worse?

Much worse, he does this and that and this and that and this and that....well u just need to know its worse since more will be shown at a certain point in the manga and a flashback/present event where abuse is shown.

He was stopped before he went all the way, though.

i tried to find that part that was show in the anime in the manga, and from what i saw, it's pretty much the same. perhaps the difference was the next chapters (which arent covered by anime anymore)

Yes it is the same at that part, but there is more in the manga which the anime doesn't cover.

ok i got so curious and read up to chap 50: Siblings part2
is there any more to the siblings story?

if it was some other time ill be raging right now (prolly cuz i stopped caring about Freezing). i cannot really tolerate sexual abuse (even at minimal amount). seeing as
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
it was so extreme: satella is basically her sex slave for years, minus the "fucking" part because he cant do it since they're still blood related (it prolly a huge problem for their family). then, to make it worse, satella seems to have submitted to his brother's will. that's pretty sick to be honest. just look at that part, where she was fully naked and being fed like a dog. i dont really mind her eating like a dog, but she was naked and that part would probably make me rage alot. im happy i didnt seriously continue on the manga after watching the anime.

this is what you call netorare right?

i dont understand, with author adding stuff like this, does he want to lose readers, or do stuff like this actually attract more readers?

The whole arc after the anime is nothing but Netorare fan service trying to appease a niche audience that a took a huge shit on character development that happened in the arc covered by the anime.

Than the talentless hack (make enough manga get an anime) that Kim Dal Young is goes even more sexually backwards than both Japan and the American deep south by portraying her bother as a "good person but misguided" all along.(that happens with all of his human villains btw) As a shallow means of sparing both him and his jealous tramp's life.

Freezing and most of Young's "serious" works are Seinen according what twelve years olds think it is. He should really stick to slice of life works which is the only thing he is even remotely good at.

I wonder after reading such posts if its advisable to censor such stuff, does not writing about abuse completely eliminate it from the Real world?
yes i can understand your rage if it was used for entertainment purpose, but no its not ... the victim of is one of the main casts and we care much about her, so the abuse pains us readers who sympathies/empathies with the main cast/main couple
I personally felt like this and my rage was directly against the offender in the manga
and similar offenders in real life.
how come some people didn't feel that way and thought it was for fan-service sake, i can't understand ... maybe they are emotionally dead or cant empathies with the characters.
Its outrageous how people can start spotting outrageous libel, like "that culture is backward" and "this author is a depraved misogynist"
and in the same paragraph resort to religious fanatics recommendations, of banning stuff and defamation.

That's because Young's shit is backwards, like 12 year old Yoai fangirl backwards with writing just as poor.
It impossible to empathize with the characters because well in a real military these the victims would be dismissed, ostracized or told to go to "JAG or NICS"
and the people who perpetrates the shit Young fetishizes would be subject to "fragging" in real life (wiki it,) and rightfully so. So it is fair to say that Satellizer is a dumb twat afflict with Stockholm Syndrome for saving such a piece of human crap.

If you never read any of the authors manga, your pretty much ignorant to the obvious fan service and the fact that most of "bad characters" are basically authors pets as well.

Maybe it's you need to grow up and stop pretending that you know what your talking about.

I'm too old to be even reading this stuff so stop with the grow up comments
and this is still fiction and targeted to a certain demographic
well if i conclude rightly from your signature that you're an atheist feminist
you probably started to read this manga because you thought its about female empowerment but you were disillusioned because you discovered that it was just an excuse (only females can have stigmata) to make a female cast for fan-service purpose
I guess people would never agree on what they conclude when they read the same book and there are lots of RL examples of that
but plz don't stoop to the level of the people you despise
well and if the manga is so bad why don't you drop it why are you here flaming the topic and using strong language
I droped mutiple titles but i don't go to the pain of bitching about them they are not worth my time, so if this manga is not worth your time (and time is precious) why the hell you're wasting it here?

Remember you made the claim first and try to use the quotations. If your told old for such commentary than use Firefox so your grammar isn't awful.

Anti feminist atheist actually, so you didn't read my signature very well. So that empowerment is just BS. The main reason I started reading is because people said and was crap compared to what it rips off(Claymore, Gunparade March, etc) and it pretty much proved them right.

What level? The bar is already pretty low so when it concerns fan/girlism. So there really isn't any lower to go.

Somebody has to tell others that Young's stuff is garbage that only the most insane of fans would tell people that this more than just one more of his awful fan service manga. However his non fan service focused stuff is just K-Darma crap which doesn't make for a good or realistic story either.

Sorry I reread your sig so many times and yet I have no idea what you are talking about. I don't care for an explanation, but that is just to say it is not very effective.

I'd also say it sounds different enough from Claymore and Gunparade March.

Anyone else find it ironic that his first shot being a spelling/grammar nazi he makes a few grammatical errors? Is the pot calling the kettle black now?

As for your signature, being a feminist precludes being an atheist (which means being a feminist prevents one from being atheist?) because you can't be an atheist if you accept religious dogma as a fact (so you're implying feminist theory is founded in religious dogma somehow?)

Please elaborate because I'm not getting it.

Totally offtopic:
OolonColluphid has no idea what she is talking about so it makes sense that you have no idea what she is talking about!
Atheism is the rejection of belief in the existence of deities(gods)! Thats it..

Speaking of off topic:

Q: What do you tell a woman with two black eyes?

A: Nothing. You already told her twice.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...!

Damn that Freezing for not being realistic!! Cause when I read my glorified/GOREified magic girl manga complete with otherworldly beings reaping havoc on mankind, I EXPECT A CERTAIN LEVEL OF REALISM!!

...Ahem... sorry...

Oh, but joking aside, I agree that Lim-DalLOL-Young's rape fetish is pretty over-played. And yeah, it's aggravating that the Pandoras spent WAAAY more time in-fighting and obsessing over Satellizer than doing anything productive for man-kind... which is probably why I don't read Freezing anymore.

I mean, god-damn. Was I the only one reading the first thirty chapters thinking "Ya know... If you guys'd just leave her the fuck alone, maybe, just MAYBE she wouldn't be so damn psychotic? Get over it already..."
