I'm just wondering if there are any mangas or animes that can be somewhat comparative or similar to the TV series "Warehouse 13".

Here is the Wikipedia description of it:
"The series follows U.S. Secret Service Agents Myka Bering and Pete Lattimer when they are assigned to the government's secret Warehouse 13 for supernatural artifacts. It is located in a barren landscape in South Dakota, and they initially regard the assignment as punishment. As they go about their assignments to retrieve missing artifacts and investigate reports of new ones, they come to understand the importance of what they are doing. In Season 1, Episode 4, they meet Claudia Donovan, who is searching for her missing brother; in Season 2, she joins the team as their techno-wiz. In Season 3, Episode 1, Steve Jinks, an Agent from Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives comes aboard."

To be honest, the series can't be explained just by this, you really have to watch to get the full feel of it. You can find some of the episodes on the Syfy website.

Thanks for telling me my limits for bumping.

Also, thanks for contributing, but the Pet Shop series isn't even close to "Warehouse 13". Still it is an interesting read. Thanks anyway.

well, i can easily read wiki facts, but i want to know what about it that YOU found appealing, the type of feeling you want in your manga. is it the supernatural part, the investigation part, the mystery part, the relationship between colleague part, the type of character, the use of gore, violence and sex, etc.

i dont know much about monster-of-the-week manga, but probably something like Hellsing. i suggest Jiraishin if the police type stuff that you like. investigating weird occurrence can be something like Hakushaku Cain Series and Ludwig Kakumei. if there is syfy (idk), you can try 2001 Ya Monogatari. can't remember much manga with two equal protagonist in work relationship, but something like Gangsta and Dorohedoro might qualify.

Dragon Crisis! anime had a similar idea (MC sister recruits MC in an organization that is searching lost artifacts all around the world etc. etc.) but all we got in that series was the typical no-brainer action/comedy/ecchi series. There is a manga too that I've never checked: Dragon Crisis!.

Thanks for the huge list of series to check out. Most of them sound really interesting from their description.

Also, as a response to Whitespade, I can't really say what aspect of the show I generally favor. The shortest summary I can give of it is just the whole idea of the series and just how much fun they have with it. If you can find a series that is has similar entertainment just from that description, then great. But, if your still scratching your head about what I mean, just go over to Syfy.com and watch a few of the episodes.

The one manga that definitely comes to mind about artifacts/items that possess something special is Tengai Retrogical. However, this manga was licensed by ADV a long time ago, and never went beyond volume 1. You can find the Chinese version online though....

It's sort of a secret organization (household), but they're more like trying to help people connect with some of their items that they left behind. (Each item has its own will that can only be accessed through a special power.) Also, the time period takes place during the Edo period, I think. So, it's not that modern. The government isn't involved.

I would second recommend CLAMP's ×××HOLiC, but it's definitely no Warehouse 13, as the Japanese government isn't involved. Also, the ending of this long series is a little disappointing.

Great to see a fellow WH13 watcher here. I can't believe they have to split the recent season in half. Arrgghhh!! Artieeee.... ;___;

It would be cool if there was an actual manga series that was more like Warehouse 13, but then, that manga wouldn't be too original now, would it? (Unless, a Warehouse 13 manga, itself, was made....)

Dynamic did release a five issue comic series based off Warehouse 13. Hope this helps.

Also, thank you for responding. It seems like my demands are too much out there for people to really think of something.

I see. Thanks for letting me know about the WH comic series. ^_^

And no prob. To find a manga that is exactly like Warehouse is like finding a needle in a haystack. You can find a zillion stories that involve magical objects, but they're all going to be different. (I would've also recommended Ikai Hanjouki Hiyokoya Shouten, but it's more of a magical other world family theme type of manga that DEFINITELY does not involve the government/secrets.)

Despite what I said above, I wish you the best of luck on finding a story that could involve two-three different organizations and multiple secret facilities. ^__^ There probably is one out there somewhere....

Planetes is about a team that retrieves space junk. I only saw a couple of episodes, but it seems that the objects being retrieved are there to tell different stories. It doesn't have a supernatural aspect, as far as I know.
