Hello,

I am looking for a battle manga with a couple. I am tired of romance being hinted at, but never expressed in manga. I would prefer them to be boyfriend/girlfriend early on in the manga, but if they aren't at least have them show noticeable affection for each other early on.

I would prefer the manga to be a battle manga, with bad ass abilities, but it isn't a requirement.

It can be shounen, seinen, or shoujo, as long as there is a battle aspect with hopefully cool abilities.

flame of recca? -shounen. well... the girl doesnt fight and they wasn't a couple from the start but they will eventually, and it's obvious that they like each other from the start.

Hoshi no Samidare - the guy pledge his life to the girl from the very first chapter, and theres loads of cool fighting.

Angel Densetsu - not really a battle manga though theres some fighting, but the main guy and girl get together fairly quickly after their first meeting.

Holyland - a bttle manga but realistic, so no 'cool' powers. the guy and the girl get together later on after the guy's dithering, but their affection is definitely pronounced.

Mirai Nikki - main girl is a yandere, and after lots of very violent show of affection, the guy finally succumbed. not really battle manga, but loads of fighting, action, and violence.

Zettai Karen Children - a ten year old girl like a 20 year old man. they definitely get together cos the vision from the future show it. theres nothing lolicon in it, the guy is a very responsible person. the battles are based on esp.

PSYЯEN. A very under appreciated manga. Sadly its been completed for about 2 years so very unlikely that it will get picked up as an anime.

All fits very well in this category. I feel like the romance is not really very strong in some of series mentioned like for example Holyland, Shi ga Futari o Wakatsu Made, Tower of God however if you feel like that is what you are looking for, there are a lot more with that amount. For example Kubera.

Immortal Rain - to some extent
Samurai Usagi - I'm not sure how much of a battle manga it is though
Magico (IWAMOTO Naoki) - the girl doesn't really fight though
