What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)
No difference in translation but have a translation note

I'll second Hoshi no Samidare, it's a great one.

Akira: Not sure if this is all available online but it should be easy enough to find at any bookstore that sells manga

Ping Pong: Obviously not epic in scope as the three mentioned in the OP but still amazing

Welcome to the NHK!: Don't remember this one too well to be honest but I recall some jaw-dropping moments. Get's depressing towards the end.

Parasyte: Not particularly deep but a page-turner.
