Hi! I'm a big fujoshi. But when it comes to yuri I have only read some like Haru Natsu Aki Fuyu, nothing hardcore. Could you please recommend me some yuri/ shoujo ai that's picturing the girls' love and passion, sex is alright, but hentai manga or anything too explicit or hardcore is off.
Sorry if the request sounds weird v.v
Thanks ^_^ biggrin

Green.
Husky and Medley
Junsui Adolescence
Kimi Koi Limit
Octave (the best out of these, imo)
Othello (OTSU Hiyori)
Scarlet Flower
Sorairo Girlfriend

Yuri is very much not my thing, but I've been studying classic manga lately, and have run across some that I liked.

Shiroi Heya no Futari - this is the one that started it all.
Maya no Souretsu
Oniisama e
Claudine...!

I liked the last two the most, for the art, and the second one the least.

They are all tragic.

I've been trying to get into yuri too - the first one that made me want to read more was Renai Idenshi XX.

Probably cuz it looks more like a shounen ai than a shoujo ai, so I figure it's a good bridge for yaoi addicts smile

I have prepared a 3-step plan to ensnare others.

First, get your feet wet and start off with the softcore oneshots to see if you can even accept a dabble of yuri, so none of that sex stuff here:

Present (Kurata Uso)
Dusk, orange, the blooming flowers
My duckling
Forever Girls
Sweet temptation
Love me softly
My beloved Kawano-san
For you, my beloved - Based on a true story cry

Second, we step up to the series. Bring in the drama, stereotypes, and all that jazz:

Sasameki koto
Lonely wolf lonely sheep
Kase-san
Ebisu-san to Hotei-san
Stray little devil
Strawberry shake
Pieta
Hana to hoshi

And third we delve into the actual "yuri" meaning there is sex but not wholly explicit. Sex isn't the focus here but it's part of the addiction:

Octave
Prism (Higashiyama Shou)
Candy (Suzuki Yufuko)
Aoi Hana
Girl friends
Hoshikawa Ginza Yonchoume
Husky and medley - Based on a true story
Hanjuku Joshi - Be warned, 80% sex

Whatever it is, I hope you find what you're looking for

Thanks caozhi for the detailed reply, I've decided to try reading yuri and was looking for something for the beginners as well. I'll try reading what you've suggested!
