Ok guys this is a question I've got to ask. Recently I've been watching animes that I've been meaning to watch for a long time but never got around to it. I watched Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, loved it, but now I want to get on to Neon Genesis Evangelion, but I don't know If should watch the anime, or just go straight to Rebuild of Evangelion...

Any help is apprecieated...

do both rebuild is a retelling and has a different story, though kinda the same but completely different. both are great series.

same characters and voice actors in japan even though made 15 years apart sound the same.

If you have the time then watch Neon Genesis Evangelion then Rebuild. Rebuild is nothing but a slightly alternative version entire series in movie format. For Neon Genesis Evangelion when you finish watching episode 24 I suggest you watch End of Evangelion movie instead of episode 25 and 26.

Nothing really happens in episode 25 and 26. Both episodes are suppose to be about Shinji reflecting

Also make sure you watch the "Director's Cut" versions of episodes 21-24. It'll help End of Evangelion make more sense... and it needs all the help it can get.
