potential spoilers!

I don't know of any other manga, that has two anime versions well, the case is that I practically don't watch anime...

The differences between the manga and anime#1 are quite big
( I can't stop whining about the absence of captain Bernadotte ), it also ends with a total cliffhanger, so there were some rumours about a second series.

Anime#2, so called Hellsing Ultimatum, mostly keeps up with the storyline ( well, there are only 3 or 4 episodes out for now ) and it also has those short scenes with the funny art ( I lolled at the scenes with talking guns, priceless! ).

What did you like/dislike in the manga, that was different in the anime? Any opinions/regrets/wishes?

Haven't seen the anime, but aren't there two mangas too? Hellsing and Hellsing: The Dawn.

Hellsing:The Dawn is a prequel, it has been created few years after Hellsing.

alucard vs uncognito fighting is quite awesome, dude it gives me chills.. but ending sucked..

manga is better, feeling of atmosphere.. I most loved nazi millennium members... but 14 pages per monthly? lol Kouta is very lazy..or maybe he had many reasons

The first anime didn't really keep me interested but it's what got me to read the manga...the new one Hellsing Ultimate is really good...The art's better than the manga in my opinion plus the animation and voice acting is great only problem with it is it's slow releases...It's been almost a year since OVA3 came out and OVA4 will be released sometime this month...

the first anime did not have the comedy in the manga and ultimate.
i'm talking about the drastic change in art style and seriousness.

the first anime also went off and didn't follow too much of the manga and seemed a little low budget. also story kinda sucked towards the end.
