Well I'm not really a huge fan of Clamp. But I kind a know that Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, xxxHOLIC and Card Captor Sakura have some kind of relationship with each other...
Card Captor Sakura share common characters with Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, and as it already says in the Tsubasa's page,it is a side story of xxxHOLIC. (But I'm wondering why is nothing on the page of xxxHOLIC? maybe it isn't suppopse to show the other way relation ship like in sequels/prequels?)
So I want to get this clear (just to update with the correct info).
Anyone a big CLAMP fan and can correctly point out this?
P.S. If what I'm saying makes no sense just point that to me and lock this topic fast...

TRC has CCS' characters and xxxHOLiC and TRC have parallel storytelling and intertwine to a certain extent. There actually are plenty of TRC-related references in xxxHOLiC manga, don't worry.

xxxholic is a side story of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. xxxholic explains the witch and the boy. That's all.

I knew that I'll get people confused...
Well I'm asking anyone with enough info on the subject to actually update, (or request an update) for the series info concerning these series with the correct relationships. (for the related series field)
I wish this was clear enough this time...

both tsubasa and xxxholic are related, but they are concurrent (...i think thats the word i'm looking for)
card captor sakura follows a completely different storyline, but they have a few characters in common, if not all. (hasn't ended, more might pop up--xxxholic and tsubasa i mean ^^;)
though i think calling xxxholic a side story of tsubasa (vice versa) isn't too far of a stretch

That would be great if we already decided on what kind of relation it should be...
Unless you already have a good idea about this?
but then, the problem is, what type of relation would it be...

For the record, based on the Del Rey releases of both series, while Tsubasa gets mention from time-to-time in xxxHOLiC, the events in Tsubasa have yet to play a role in the story of xxxHOLiC. However, events in xxxHOLiC have played important roles in Tsubasa.
However, I wouldn't call xxxHOLiC a side story to Tsubasa. The theme of xxxHOLiC is a darker one for starters and seems geared to a somewhat older teen audience. Tsubasa is very much a shounen title. Yuuko-san, the "Time-Space Witch," is the link between the two series. Since Yuuko-san is a main character in xxxHOLiC and only shows up from time-to-time in Tsubasa, I'm guessing that's why they stated that Tsubasa was a side-story to xxxHOLiC.

The premise of Tsubasa is that there are countless alternate universes. So the teenaged Sakura and Syaoran in Tsubasa are not the same one from Cardcaptor Sakura (I suspect the CCS Sakura and Syaoran are in the world of xxxHOLiC but that is only speculation on my part).
The world Tsubasa Sakura and Syaoran live on is very different with Sakura being a princess of the desert country they live in (her brother is the king and Yukito being a mage) and Syaoran being her childhood friend (even if a bit uncomfortable with the class differences between them). Sakura loses her memories and Yukito sends them to Yuuko-san. This is the only real impact that Tsubasa has on xxxHOLiC to date since Yuuko-san makes sure that her new employee Watanuki witnesses this.
Anyway, they are joined by Kurogane (who on his world serves Tomoya who's the ruler) and Fay (who on his world is apparently a powerful mage who created Chii (Chobits). For a heavy price, Yuuko-san sends them on a journey through various worlds. Syaoran and Sakura are looking for her memories, which have taken the form of feathers, Fay is on the run, and Kurogane is looking for a way back to his home (having been punished for being bloodthirsty). In each world they visit, they encounter characters from other CLAMP manga, but different versions of those characters (if that makes sense).
Kinda long-winded, but hopefully that explains everything. I collect both manga titles, but xxxHOLiC has been much more interesting to me than Tsubasa. But Del Rey is probably the best of the manga publishers in the U.S., so it is worth getting the manga from them.

Yeah I kinda noticed all this already... I read the first few chapters of Tsubasa, and the first half of CCS.
But I think that the link between the two works might be worth mentioning. Since all the cast of CCS is in Tsubasa and even their personalitys and relationships with each other are also easy to guess if you read CCS.
But oh well, I think I just started a useless thread, a discussion without a real answer so I think I'll let you manage this. I no longer have anything worth mentioning to add in this thread...
