I am looking for a student-teacher romance story. I would prefer older male, younger female but am open to alternatives. I know there are heaps of them out there but I am looking for one that doesn't have an annoying heroine who is a complete idiot and totally helpless. I also prefer that they have a relationship instead of the 'love at first sight' kind of thing. Some examples are Oresama Teacher (this one is great, but it has so many characters I am getting them mixed up.) H and Hirunaka No Ryuusei

Darker, more complex, would be the manhwa "Seduction is More Beautiful than Love" (AKA "Beautiful Fascination is Better Than Love"). This one is older female x younger male, but the characters are quite well-developed. They are not what they seem at first glance. It's complete, too!

Ciel kind of has one (but it takes a while). Great fantasy manhwa, though. Older male x younger female
